I only ever stepped foot in this place because it's the only company that my hospital partners with for scrub embroidery. I will be honest, Scrub Direct's selection of medical clothing is small, but I usually buy my scrubs online and bring those pieces in for embroidery anyway. What I found absolutely charming about this place is the clerk who Ive had the pleasure of dealing with there. This young woman's customer service was so wonderful and her friendliness so genuine, that after my first time meeting her, I stopped back in-store an extra time simply to bring her a canned drink that she'd mentioned was her favorite during our friendly chit-chat a few days prior!Now, I can't speak for anyone else there (she's thankfully the only clerk I've dealt with in my 5 or so times stopping into this store), but I gotta admit, you won't find genuine customer service and friendliness like that at places like Wal-Mart or Nothing But Scrubs! Even If this wasn't the only place that embroidered scrubs for my hospital, I'd keep coming back simply because of the stellar service I received from this person! (PS, I had no idea that you could request your name and credentials added underneath your hospitals embroidery until my third visit! It's a fun little extra that made my day, so I thought I'd share that little tidbit in an attempt to hopefully make yours!)

Very friendly woman named Chris helped me and I left with several sale items and ended up with six items for around $110. I am new to Albuquerque and she was very conversational and helpful, made suggestions about where I should live and told me about her business history with UNMH. I look forward to going back and supporting this local woman owned business!

After reading the reviews I was hesitant to come to this business, but it's the only parter that's UNMH uses to embroider scrubs. My first experience at this store was not the best, I found the staff to be rude. My second time At this business was the complete opposite of my first experience, the staff member was really friendly and helpful when it came to recommending different brands of scrubs. If you buy their scrubs and get them embroidered it's only $2.99 I believe where as if you bring your own scrubs in it's around $9 per item.

This place is great. Sure the selection isn't super vast but you can't beat their prices or salesmanship. The first time I bought scrubs in Albuquerque, I went to a shop that had so many options but their prices were super expensive AND they didn't let you look in peace. I know what I want and I don't want to be bothered while I'm trying on my clothes. In other words, if you're like me; you like good prices and searching on your own, then this is your place. Thanks again!!!!

5 starts for customer service, great prices and locationEntering the store and being greeted is always a point! I was lucky that I was shopping alone and I got all the help. I've tried about 8 pairs of scrubs to my initial liking and took home 4 tops, 3 bottoms and a jacket. There were two fitting rooms with a table and a chair. It was great to see how it fits when I'm sitting. I also got my scrubs embroidered for a great price! (As compared when I canvassed around) they do all the embroidery in house which was great! Most of their scrubs which are not available in size can be ordered which only takes 3 business days to come. That's really quick! (I know!) I noticed the prices are cheaper since they order directly to the brands. I really had a great buy! Conveniently located in NE heights (Menaul and Wyoming). I will definitely recommend and return to scrubs direct for any scrub suit needs!

The owner is extremely rude, and has terrible people skills but the prices of scrubs are decent. If you buy scrubs from here they are embroidered for free which is cheaper than buying and taking them to be embroidered.

New to the area, and came to Scrubs Direct to shop around prior to starting with UNMH. Was unable to find sizes that fit me. Thanked the older woman who was on duty as I left empty handed, and witnessed her shaking her head as if I just wasted her time. Quite a rude gesture towards a potential customer. I will not return here, and do not support such actions.

Horrible place to get scrubs. You get treated like you're a bother. No help whatsoever and extremely rude staff. Especially the young girl with black hair with highlights I don't recommend you come here

Absolute worst place to buy scrubs. It's unfortunate that they are the cheapest place to have UNMH scrubs embroidered. I have attached images of my phone calls (after October 3 because my phone deleted any prior calls). I walked in to grab scrubs on September 23... being that this shop does embroidering for UNMH, I assumed they would have black scrubs available since that's the color for nurses... nope, not available so we had to order them. I was told 7-10 days. I call back the following Monday to see if they have my scrubs ready, I'm asked if I received a call from them telling me that they are ready, to which I reply no, I'm just checking. I'm told they'll call when they are ready.I call back again on 10/9, told that the person who has the orders has already left and they don't have access to my order. They asked what I had purchased and I told them, then they reiterated "since you can't tell me what you ordered, I can't see what's going on with you order"... mind you, I had just answered all of her questions about ordering two Cherokee scrub shirts, one other brand that was just waiting for the others so they could all be embroidered. Told they don't have them and they'll call when they are ready.Call back again 10/12 to see if my scrubs have been delivered, told again the person with the ordering slips doesn't work weekends. I ask if they can look to see if they are there and I'm told again they are not there and they will call when they are ready.Today I call to inquire once again because I ordered my scrubs over 3 weeks ago, and I'm told that they are not there. I mention again that I ordered my scrubs on 9/23, she says she'll grab the manager. She gets back on the phone with the manager saying in the background that my scrubs are right there and that they've tried calling twice. I say I have not received a single phone call from them, manager speaking in the background again says they called twice but I don't have a VM set up, I clarify that I absolutely do and that I also do not have any missed calls. Manager in the background is saying my scrubs have been available since 10/2 I say I will be there in a few minutes and will be speaking with the manager.I walk in absolutely infuriated by the situation, front girl gets manager. She claims again that they called twice, I don't have a voicemail. I clarify and show her I don't have any missed calls from them and say that my voicemail is setup and I'm not having an issue with it showing that I have multiple voicemails. I also mention that I called prior to the 8th, 10/9 and 10/12, all times I was told my order isn't ready, even after asking them to just double check. Manager and I are both clearly heated, and she says "sorry" without any correction to employee who "called" and also answered the times that I called. Claims again my VM doesn't work. I have them dial my number, call doesn't go through, she claims it's my VM I say the call didn't even come through and my phone is right here, working fine. She asks employee if she dialed 1 because I have long distance number, employee does not. As we all know, this message wouldn't have said my VM isn't setup it would've said the number isn't a working number, making most people think "oh! I forgot the long distance code" and try again, not this bright one. I'm absolutely livid at this point, threw in some inappropriate language. She says she's apologized, what do I want her to do? I say maybe reprimand your employee for not looking for WEEKS for my order, learn how to dial a phone number. Manager states "I hope you're not like this as a nurse". I storm out (absolutely tornado/hurricane) letting her know I wish she wasn't like this as a business owner but here we are, get a new job. Moral of the story, take your business elsewhere. These people absolutely are not worth the disrespect/disorganization/poor business skills/headache.

NO GOOD FOR MEN!!! Small selection. If you find your size or scrubs you like, good luck find a matching pair. Everything is over priced because they have a contract with UNM Hospital. If i wasn't forced to get my scrubs embroidered here i wouldn't give them a penny. The building is old. Scrubs displayed were dirty. Poor customer service. UNMH Please cut ties with this company.
