I've only shopped here once, but looking forward to coming back. They have a lot of unique greeting cards, locally made goods, and specialty gifts. The owner, Jo, was very friendly and knowledgeable. I initially went in to browse, but ended up buying a locally crafted beeswax lotion bar by Coccolarsi. It smells and feels so good on my skin! I would also recommend this product **two thumbs up**

We frequent Scojo's anytime we are looking for a meaningful procurements. This is always one of our first stops for local unique gift for family and friends. Whether it be for a birthday, housewarming, holiday, baby shower or just because, you are certain to find something! Recently, my husband and I found some early Christmas presents and are planning to head back in a couple weeks as new treasures arrive. The beauty of this shop is that they focus on local artists and try to find items you truly cannot get anywhere else. I would encourage you to stop by and see what wonders you might find! Tip: They have amazing holiday gifts that usually start arriving in October.

I called to ask a question and the guy on the phone was really mean! I've never had someone from a biz be that mean to me. I'm a nice person there's no reason to be rude

I had only been in Scojo's once, just before Christmas. Two very pleasant female employees were working that day. I purchased a rather expensive gift and some cards. This time I was hoping to purchase both a wedding gift and a birthday gift. The male owner was the only person working. He was pushy and annoying! I told him I preferred to browse on my own, but he kept making suggestions and insisting that I look at this and that. He wanted me to look at several pieces of jewelry and when I told him that the person I was buying for was not interested in jewelry, he insisted that I consider the pieces for myself. If he had taken one look at the jewelry I was wearing, he would have seen that the pieces he was pushing were not something that I would wear. I continued looking, but he kept pushing so I left empty handed. Had he kept quiet, other than pleasant chitchat, I probably would have found something to purchase. He was annoying and not at all helpful. Most likely, I will not shop at Scojo's again. I live a good distance from the store and would have to call first to make sure he was not working that day. Not worth the trouble.
