I LOVE the Schwebach Farm. Cute little store with a bunch of yummy goodness inside.During my last visit I bought some beautiful green chiles, some good smelling bath products, potatoes, and whole case of fresh peaches. Of course, I had to eat one of the beautiful peaches before I worked up the rest of them for the freezer. The people that own the farm are very kind and welcoming. They work hard every year to put food on our tables and they do it with the best attitude around. The farm has experienced some issues in the last many years so it's unclear if the farm will be back next year. I TRULY HOPE SO! I suggest you head over to their website and sign up for their newsletter so you can stay informed. They will email you when they have different types of produce available and you can keep up-to-date about what's going on with the farm. The drive out to Moriarty is beautiful and refreshing. I highly recommend this local family farm. Please get out there and support our local businesses owners!

I had been waiting years for the Farm to Table Dinner to return since pre-covid times. Based on what I've seen, I like the politics and values of this family and the way they run their farm. Everything we ate was fresh from the field. When we took a tour of the farm, we got a chance to try the sweet corn right from the field (they do this on field trips to the farm as well). That's just some of the things the Schwebach's are known for- their beans and their corn. It was an amazing night of food (compliments to Chef Daniel of Roots Farm Cafe), music, and meeting new people. I can't wait to do it again in the future- the price was definitely worth it to support something local, or even just to visit the farm store (which I had planned on coming early to the dinner to visit, but had closed early for the day to an emergency). 2022 #46

If you want it fresh from the farm Schwebach is the place. For years now this is my go to for fresh Pinto an Bolita beans. You ask does it really make a difference? Oh yes ma'am! You can taste the difference and your cook time is decreased. Beyond the beans they also have fresh grown produce, corn, squash, zucchini, onions, Peppers and local honey. The staff is helpful and friendly to assist you. They're not open year round so when the store is open it is best to get it fresh.

I have taken my third grade class there for almost 5 years now on a field trip. The purpose of the field trip, is to learn how they plant and grow things as organically as they possibly can. In science were studying the lifecycle of plants and how plants and animals interact together. This farm is a perfect field trip to help the kids understand how to grow things! They are wonderful people, wonderful trip field trip, will continue to go back each and every year that I can.
