I have heard good things so was looking forward to trying Saya's when it was open and I had time to make a u-turn and find the parking lot entrance. The frito pie was just ok - I can usually finish a frito pie or keep leftovers and I just threw this one out. The prune pie was delicious and was generously sized so I shared it with coworkers. Saya's is a don't bother for me. There are much better frito pies around town. Maybe the frybread is good, but if its topped with the same fixings I would also pass on that.

Enjoyed this delicious warm, frybread on a snowy day. Friendly service and seemed to be family owned. They happened to be open on New Year's Day and were conveniently located within walking distance from where I was staying.

Little food trailer. Got there right as they opened. The owner was real friendly and warm. Got two fry breads and an Indian taco. Good price. Really tasty. If I lived anywhere near there, I would be a regular customer.

I have been waiting forever to go to Saya's. I have heard great things, but due to work and life things, I couldn't get there until today. So much time wasted!! I went with my son at lunchtime with my teenage son. I will start by saying, we have had our share of NDN tacos, all over the country. Saya's innovates by pre-cutting the fry bread, eliminating the messy fumbling to try to get to the middle. This made it much easier to eat in our car, which I really appreciated. The fry bread was big and perfectly cooked. The chili is well spiced, not too much. Beans are cooked through- important to note, especially since we were there at the start of the day. Proportions were all good. The fork is inside the container with the taco, which I appreciate because it eliminates extra waste with those little plastic-ware packets. All in all, an excellent experience.

Fried dough is like dumplings, every culture has their take on fried dough, but the Native American fried dough is pretty spectacular.Says serves savory (taco) and sweet. We only tried the sweet which has honey and powdered sugar; although, the taco sounded amazing. The fried dough is huge and can feed 2 and probably 4. Golden and crispy on the outside while light and pillowy on the inside.Delish

Delicious!! Our hotel was nearby and we stopped for lunch on our first day here. The ladies inside are very friendly and explained everything on the menu. We got a honey/powdered sugar fry bread and a fry bread taco. The taco was great, with the bread cut into small pieces making it very easy to eat. The honey fry bread was a little messy, but that was expected and definitely worth it. The food and service was so good we went back for seconds the following day and it didn't leave us disappointed again. 10/10 try this place out for lunch!!

Wow, this was good. I visited SF many times as a kid in teh 60's, but I guess Indian Tacos weren't a thing back then. It was delicious and the staff very friendly. I think the hours are very limited- 11- 3 Tues thru Sat.

This place is awesome. We had a fry bread and the fritos chili thing. They were both crazy good. Skip the tourist traps and get your grub on here.

On Christmas Day in 2022, we were hungry Canadian travellers in Santa Fe. We had arrived the night before, and didn't realize that NOTHING is open in New Mexico on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. It was a dicey couple of days!We stumbled onto Saya's late in the day, and they were sold out - already closed up. They must have sensed our disappointment - as we were heading out to go - a kid ran out with a fresh piece of fry bread and wouldn't accept any money. Thinking about it even now, I am so grateful. We were really hungry and hadn't had anything hot all day - and the fry bread was of course absolutely delicious.Thank you Saya's for being generous when we were hungry and far from home. Your food is delicious and I hope to come back someday to visit again.
