Horrible service department. Made an online appointment for 10:15. Showed up on time. They have no record of my appointment. Showed him the email with confirmation. Told me it's because I'm new and made it online and they don't want people to make appointments online because they can't tell them the wait time. Then told me the wait time was 4 hours for an oil change!!!!! Said it's corporates problem because they won't block off online appointments. Went down the street to valvoline and was done and out in 15 min. Horrible job Sandia Toyota service. Fix your system.

We bought our daughter a used ford focus with 57,000 miles on it. Our salesman was not helpful considering he had nothing to do selling the car except physically being there. We wanted the car, we paid cash, and that was it. After purchasing the car we were asked if we could bring it back in 3 days because it had some repairs needed. So why didn't you fix it first before selling it or even showing it? We asked what repairs needed to be done and the only thing the salesman knew was a cracked tail light. So we bring it back Saturday morning and we are there from 10am to 2pm (we were told approx. 1 hour). The car apparently also needed front brakes and a spare tire and i dont know what else. The service department was RUDE, the guy yelled at me to pull my car in, so I yelled back. So I proceeded to get the stink eye from most of the service department. Barry should not have that position. He has NO customer service skills and is a grumpy man. He is rude and doesn't not represent Toyota. We also noticed that the dashboard completely separated and when i asked him to fix it, he rudely replied "It wasn't schedule for that!" When we finally got the car back, we were handled the keys, and not even offered any paperwork, and no the dashboard wasn't fixed. We will never go back here and do the opposite of recommending to all our friends and family, Reading these other reviews, I can see Sandia Toyota is aware of this and obviously doesn't care, so we will have to bring it to the big boys a Toyota corporate. They CANNOT continue to do this, and NOT care. You want the Toyota name but not the standard...BEWARE... DONT GO HERE!

If you feel like wasting the day, come here. They take their time and don't bother setting an appointment because they'll just put you in line. This is the last time I'll be coming here.

Car shopping has always been on my list of least favorite things to do! Gerardo Macias at Sandia Toyota changed that for us in a big way! Gerardo has been on board for us since January of this year looking out for a car that was extremely difficult to find. No pressure to buy something else until we researched and found an alternative that fortunately was available at the dealer that day I happened to call, We are very happy with our new Toyota Rav4 Prime! We downsized from a Sienna minivan but as "oldies" we have no need for such a large car. If you are un the market for a new Toyota do ask for Gerardo at Sandia. He will make your car experience a very joyful one. Thanks again, Gerado! You are the best!!!!! Geri and Dennis P.S. We needed a new cabin filter in our car and Gerardo bought it and installed it himself. We finally figured out that "over the top" gesture after thinking about it after we got home!

If I could give this place negative stars, I would. I called the parts department to order replacement splash guards: one under the front of my car and one in the wheel well that developed a hole because it had been laying against my tire. I also scheduled an appointment to have the parts installed. I brought my car in for the job at the appointment time and got the car back in a timely fashion. It was my fault for not checking that the work had been done when they gave me my car back, but I was hoping I could trust them, and I had an important surgery the next day, so my mind was elsewhere. I noticed some time later that the splash guard in the wheel well looked like it hadn't been replaced at all and was simply realigned so that it was no longer rubbing against my tire. I took my car back to see what happened, but the service rep who helped me just BS-ed me and told me that the wheel well splash guard had been replaced. He claimed he couldn't see any tire marks on the splash guard even though there was a huge hole rubbed in the guard. He showed me the part while the car was up on the hydraulic lift and I noted that the color of the wheel well splash guards both matched each other but their color didn't match the other splash guard that was replaced. To me, that proved that the splash guard in the wheel well hadn't been replaced. The rep just BS-ed me again saying that the wheel wells get exposed to more water and that's why the "new" one looked 10 years old. When I got home, I looked at my work order receipt to verify what the rep said. Come to find out, the dealership never even ordered the wheel well splash guard, so there was absolutely no way they could have replaced it because they never had that part. Bring your car here if you enjoy being lied to.

If you take your car here, expect for it to get lost on the lot, and then when you call them on their shady behavior, they'll get in your face and threaten you.And Barry, it wasn't a badge, it was an ID. But hey, since you threatened me with having my phone number and address, I will be prepared to defend myself against you accordingly.Barry, I want your bosses at Sandia Toyota to know that you're threatening people - that you're using your position of power to access a database to retrieve customers home addresses and phone numbers to intimidate them. This, alone, is a felony, but by all means, if Sandia Toyota supports this behavior, if it condones it, on top of the general disrespect of customers, then they are begging for a lawsuit. Or a class action. And I hope they get it.

This time I must admit that Mr. Holmes, the manager of SANDIA TOYOTA, came through. We met on last Saturday at the dealership, and he made it his business to have the last repair on my daughter's car done at no cost to us: the faulty suspension. We are thankful. Even though we wish that the car had been in better condition when we bought it, I give credit to Mr. Holmes for doing the right thing.

I'm in town and helped my sister buy a new car. We were treated very well during the sale portion, but as soon as we finished the application, that's where it all started to fall apart. We waited for over 2 hours to sign our purchase agreement. We watched as people who arrived after us, got helped before us. Finally, after asking a worker why it was taking so long, we were taken back to sign the documents. The paperwork we signed was completely wrong. The paperwork said a different model, and when we brought it up, they said it was ok, it was just a "place holder" and "we go off of the VIN".We then tried to update our insurance, and found that not only was the model number wrong, but the VIN was wrong on all the documents we had already signed! There was no "proof" we bought the car we actually brought home. We called the dealership and they had us come back in to resolve the paperwork. We have been waiting at the dealership for 3 hours (and counting) to correct a MAJOR mistake that they made. We are incredibly unhappy with the customer service we have received after "the sale" was made. Most likely will not be coming back to Sandía Toyota as a result of their major mistakes and unprofessionalism.
