Sandia Ridge Center

Before actually visiting the center I was a little nervous mostly from reading past reviews. After meeting the staff and visiting, I felt much more at ease. They have some of the friendliest staff, they're very committed to the care their patients and overall this has been a great experience for our family. I highly recommend Sandia Ridge for their family members.

Three months ago my 82 year old mother was sent to sandia ridge rehab for a broken leg. The care she received was cruel and horrible. They would constantly blame her for her lack of recovery and she never lets them know when she is in pain, she has a call button and never uses it, we are limited to help her due to corvid 19, she wont cooperate, she keeps misplacing her phone, these are just a few of the excuses we heard. an employee stole her phone and I know this because while they said it was misplaced I was receiving strange text message from it while it was missing. she doesn't use the call button because she has dementia!!!! They blame her for all their failings because she can not defend her self, the staff is rude and unhelpful with a doesn't give a crap attitude, after three months there her leg has now turned inward and she will never walk again. They did nothing but bill Medicare and us! She became increasingly terrified while being there, made no improvements and finally we had her removed and placed in another facility and that's when we were told her leg was worse, turned inward and she will never walk again, they calmed she was examined yet the doctor who looked at her in the new facility stated she has advance breast cancer from a simple exam, Sandia Ridge did not know this: They were billing for daily treatment under my mothers breasts for fungal infection and never noticed the very large hardened tumor: I WOULD KEEP LOVED ONES AS FAR AWAY AS POSSIBLE FROM THIS PLACE

this facility is not for patients who can't speak for their own care. your loved ones deserve so much better. my loved one got so close to deaths door, if I left my loved one in there one more day they would have died. This place has set them back weeks and weeks of rehab. This place needs to be shut down. the people who own these properties are careless with lives to make millions. check out they have lawsuits around the country. Advocate for yourself, family and your loved one.you don't deserve any stars. the people who work in these places deserve better training from their corporate leaders, these leaders aren't even leaders, they have failed the broken, there is no rehabilitation from a place like this.

it is disgusting there is possibly mold on the walls the wall is ripped they didnt even give my grandpa a shower he has been in the same clothes for almost 2 whole weeks they just let the old go anywhere with no supervision im am so disgusted i do not recommend also the ladys (workers) don't even dress in the proper clothing they come in a t-shirt and sweats so gross they are also so rude for no reason

Great care.... Outstanding healthcare ..good communication with patients and families. Therapy and Nursing ate awesome.

Awful awful awful do not send a loved one here. They never answer the phone they never give you a updates never let you speak to your loved ones they're awful please steer clear of this place no one answers the phone and my loved one passed away and they have not returned my calls so I could get his personal items they are rude uncaring selfish please be careful with this place do your homework.
