We took delivery of our 2020 which we ordered with everything we wanted (and didn't want) including the color... Chile Red. Motoring Advisor, Lee, was a delight to work with. We couldn't be happier with our new Mini and our experience at Sandia Mini.

There's just something about MINI! Not only are their cars amazingly fun to drive, the whole customer experience is top-notch. I've been to lots of car dealerships in NM and beyond. MINI dealers are the best. Why? I'll tell you: 1) No nonsense discussions; 2) The ability to customize and receive your car in record time (eat THAT Mazda and Fiat); and 3) there's something for everyone. I love MINI's and the attitude that comes with them...and that's more than just the car...it's the MINI Family experience you become part of as an owner.Okay, so what about THIS MINI dealership? First, let's chat service. Which, after all, is the most important thing because you'll interface with service more often than sales over the ownership life of your car. So, I've taken my current MINI there two times for service since moving to NM 8 months ago. Both times these were A+ experiences. The first time was a diagnostic challenge but MINI treated me well and put me up in a loaner while they diagnosed and repaired my car (thank you). Second time was impromptu (a low oil pressure warning popped up on my way to work). I drove in without an appointment, shared my concern, and JJ at Sandia MINI took excellent care of me. Kept my car, called me an Uber to get me to work, and fixed my car quickly without an appointment. Thank you, JJ! This is customer service that is hard to come by in other places.Second, let's chat sales. It's time for me to trade in my MINI (and most definitely NOT because of the performance of my current MINI...just my desire to move on to a new car). Popped in to poke around found Frankie! She's wonderful: knowledgeable, down-to-earth, and easy to chat with. Knows her stuff. We quickly designed my new MINI Convertible and, presto-chango, one week later it's in production. I expect to receive it in early summer. Frankie patiently answered by zillion questions and took me on a very long test drive to make sure I was doing the right thing.Looking for a new or used car? Go no further than Sandia MINI. They will treat you right and make you fall in love. I'm sold.

When it comes down to it, I went to Sandia Mini to have my car serviced and they did an incredible job with that. I had an issue with my car that a previous mini dealer misdiagnosed and addressed and Sandia Mini seems to have solved my problem! Before they started they said that if they weren't able to find the issue they would test drive it themselves, and if that didn't work they would ask me to drive it with a tech so that I could point out the noise I was hearing. While that seems so simple, it something no other dealership service center has ever offered me! I worked with Todd and he kept me in the know about what was happening the entire time. He was also very encouraging about letting me know that if they didn't correct it for me to let them know and they would work on it again to better diagnose the issue. While the waiting room had fewer outlets and seating options than other mini dealers I've been to, it was still a good experience. They had free sodas and Nature Valley bars, which was a nice surprise. Unfortunately, this dealer doesn't have the fleet of loaners that other locations do, but they have a shuttle service that you can use to get around. Wifi is available.

I bought a 2 door hatchback 12 years ago, and just replaced it with a Countryman. MINIs are are always fun! The sales staff have always been helpful, knowledgeable, and courteous. Their service department has also been great. The complimentary scheduled maintenance is great (3 yrs/36000 mi). The service prices are what you would expect from a premium brand, but they often have discounts available for typical service items. I also recommend this Wheels and Coffee meetup once a month at the dealership.

So annoyed with Sandia Mini and if I could give them 0 stars I would. My wife knows a lot about cars and we brought our mini in starting in 2020 while it was still under warranty. She told them it was idling high and something wasn't right. She was told there was nothing wrong with the car. She had it in several times and keep getting the same answer. Now we no longer have the warranty and we went to get our tags renewed. They will not renew them until we get our car fixed as it is idling to high. So now we will be out of pocket for something that should have been covered under our warranty

Amazing customer service and deals!I went to Sandia to have my 2009 Mini diagnosed. Todd in the service department was so kind and really laid out for me what all was wrong with my baby. Turns out it could have needed and entire engine rebuild ON TOP of about 3000 in fixes for the water pump, etc., so it was good I had already begun chatting with Frankie in the sales department. I ended up leasing a beautiful new Mini and the entire process was pretty much seamless. Frankie answered ALL of my questions and was willing to go the extra mile to show me every single one of my options regarding leasing and financing both a Mini and a Mini Cooper S. This company worked so hard for me to come together to make my payment perfect and provide me with all the warranty and gap coverage I needed. I do not think I will EVER go anywhere else. Besides, after my first Mini Cooper I was hooked and am now a forever Mini chick!

I had the "check engine" light come on this week, and took my beloved Mini in to be checked out. Well...it turns out that it needed a valve cover and fuel injectors to correct a problem with the fuel mixture being too rich. The worst part is that my warranty expired just few days previous! So the good people at Sandia Mini contacted the company and got them to cover everything on them! This saved me about $2400. Gotta love that! Thank you Todd, thank you JJ, thank you Sandia Mini, and thanks to the Mini company in general. Oh, and they gave me a loaner, complete with new car smell! :)
