I took in my 2019 F750 GS for an annual service. I bought this bike from Sandia back in 2019. I was told that the service involved flushing the fluids on the bike (oil and hydraulics), and I was prepared to pay for that exact service. Also, the cruise control on the bike stopped working and I asked them to fix that as well.It turns out that the shop basically changed the oil and filter, inspected a few things, and cleaned and lubed the chain -- and that was it. There was no mention of hydraulic fluids on the invoice. I had already changed the oil and filter myself back in November and hadn't really ridden the bike much since then, so really, there was no need for them to do this. I had told them that when I dropped the bike off. The labor cost was nearly $200. For an oil change. Serves me right for going to the dealership, and I won't make that mistake again. The ride home was as eye-opening as the bill. The quick shifter on the bike does not now stay in 1st gear; it slips to neutral without touching the shifter or the clutch upon anything but extremely gentle acceleration. I was *almost* unable to get out of their parking lot since it's a fairly steep incline to exit onto the frontage road. Also found out on the way home that the cruise control does not work, even though Leigh assured me they had fixed it without charging me. I very nearly turned around and went back, but since I do not live in Albuquerque, I wouldn't have been able to get home (my ride had dropped me off and went on to do their own things.)I am very, very disappointed with BMW Sandia. I will not ever go back, and I will not be recommending them to others. I am out over $300 for essentially nothing.

They are excellent here! Scott is amazing to work with and really knows his stuff about BMW. Working with him has been great. My husband is looking at a new BMW and Scott made the ordering process simple and smooth.

My experience is from a while ago but from the more recent reviews things haven't got any better...Lots of flash and fluff like every BMW bike and car dealer, but walk through the door of the motorcycle division and the attitude overwhelms you.Been in multiple times specifically to buy a bike and every time was confronted by Brett in sales who finally looked up after I stood there a while and he acted as if I was disturbing him. No one else in the showroom but he and I.His antagonist attitude and self-importance were unbearable . Who was I to interrupt Brett from not doing anything in particular and wanting to spend $10k or so?I no longer have any interest in buying a BMW motorcycle because the same people own both the Albuquerque and Santa Fe dealerships.Sure glad I didn't spend $10k+ and find out later what their customer service and service department is like.REPLY to business owner...Seems like you you just cut & paste the same reply to every bad review.Do you ever takes steps to resolve the many & repeated problems customers post about? Some businesses continue to make money despite their best efforts not to.

On 8/29 you wrote you'd here on Yelp you would follow up. Today is 9/17 and I haven't heard a thing. Almost 3 weeks isn't enough time I guess. Par for the course.

I bought a 2019 bmw r1250gsa and road it for 2 weeks. I was also told the motorcycle had a recall on the front brakes and it was fixed. Into my second week the front brake turned blue and began to peal layers of material off of the front disk. They kept the motorcycle for repair about a month and a half. I spoke with the sales person and told him I wanted to return the motorcycle and get a new one. We got together and ordered what I wanted.About a month before the motorcycle came in the sales manager got involved and decided he would take of 5000 off of what I had just paid for the motorcycle. I was my perception that I would get to apply what I had just paid for the motorcycle just 2 weeks prior. The sales manager told me he did not give a F--k about this circumstance. No way I would deal with this dealership again.

I was quoted 15% *over* BMW's recommended resale value (on a showroom demo no less) and told that my bike was worth 50% of blue book as a trade in. This level of incompetence destroys credibility and is insulting.

Review of Sandia BMW Motorcycle Service Department I have been going to Sandia BMW Motorcycle Service center for over 8 years. I must admit that I will avoid going there again, at all costs. What used to be quality service, has turned very negative, and it seems like it has been going that way for over the last year. I brought my bike in a few days before the arrange service. Somehow they couldn't figure it out that the appointment was for the specific motorcycle, and it took them almost an additional week to get to it. They claimed they were overwhelmed. Well, it seems like at a time of great unemployment, it wouldn't be too hard to hire additional people. Calls that where made to the service department were not returned. Neither was their a call, when the work was completed. It was up to me to call them to finally find out it was completed. Well, maybe it wasn't actually completed, like I was told, when I came to get it. It took the 20 minutes to actually bring it out to me, according to them, it needed to be cleaned a little. Well, actually, I would wish they would have test drove it some. Paying over $600 for a new battery and an oil change, you would think they would at least inspect the bike for any other issues (something I would suspect Jiffy Lube would have done). Nope. ABS lights flashing, broken turn signal and a need for air in the tires, tells me they didn't even test drive it. I guess the final blow was that the discount that I should have received (older bikes get a 15% discount on parts) was not applied. I would finally add, just try calling them. The auto section of the BMW dealer ship didn't even know they had a motorcycle department to transfer me to. Wouldn't you think it a simple solution that Auto would have one phone number, and Motorcycles would have another. How hard is this? Would make a world of difference to wasting time on their current automatic phone system. OK, I'll seek other avenues of service in the future. It was pretty obvious that they didn't really care too much about me at the service department. I miss the folks that used to be there. They were timely, friendly, new your name and seeked to provide "service". Stuart Watts

Well...I thought this was going to be a bad review but that is not to be. My bike lives on the road, we park it for long periods and travel home between trips. The biggest hassle with this is having service done. I called Sandia a couple weeks ahead and scheduled a major service for the bike and told them schedule was everything as I was flying into ABQ to do the service, let me know how long you need the bike but you HAVE to be done on schedule - they asked for 3-4 days. I also told them if they wanted to order parts in advance, I'd pay in advance. The big day came around and I dropped the bike off on a Monday (after hours drop off) and filled out their paperwork. Two days go by and I get the call that they've checked he bike out and they need parts that needed ordering and it'd be up to a week before they'd get them. Of course I immediately went into stress mode and reminded them of our conversations and told them to stop everything. They asked me to stand by and they'd call right back....when they did they said he'd found all the parts in the US and would have them shipped overnight at their expense since it was their mistake. They guaranteed they'd have the bike done on time. The bottom line... they had it all done and washed ahead of schedule and it was waiting for me when I came to get it. They also found and fixed a couple of defects from previous services. They were friendly, professional and knowledgeable (like most BMW dealers) but went the extra mile to help me out. They were great and I'd go back anytime.

Shane & Jordan come back...the service department needs some serious motivation & direction. Sales and parts are still great as ever. Gonna miss the Albuquerque bmw m/c vendor.
