for those of you who dream of a cowboy experience, our mesa room is for you! it is decorated in antique and new cowboy paraphernalia. original artwork by local artists hangs on the wall. the sun setting behind the antique stained glass hanging in the windows adds a warm glow to the room.
looking for a romantic getaway? then be sure to ask for the meadow room. this room features a large dressing room/bathroom combination. you can relax on your private portal (patio) with early morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening.
the bosque suite can sleep up to 4 people and is perfect for a family travelling together or for those individuals that are looking for lodging that offers kitchen facilities. in addition to the bedroom with queen sized bed, the suite has a separate living room/kitchenette with a daybed that can be set up as two twins or one king sized bed, stove, refrigerator, dishes, glassware and cooking utensils. the walls in the sitting room/kitchenette feature local artwork and a handpainted petroglyph mural.

Cozy, clean and comfortable accomodations. Judith is a very lovely host (and cook), and wasa tremendous help with insider tips for the Balloon Festival, as well as what to see/what to avoid in the Santa Fe and Abq. areas. If you're looking for a quiet place to stay out away from the city...this is it!

The Sandhill Crane Bed and Breakfast is one of the best B and B's which I have ever experienced. In my comparison I include major hotels and pensions. I have had the blessing to travel all over the world including Europe, North and South America, Asia and the Middle East. This place is one of the best. From the physical and architectural elegance of this place with its integration into the natural and cultural setting of the Southwestern Desert to the gourmet breakfasts prepared by the primary host, Judith Newby--the Sandhill Crane Bed and Breakfast expresses the most superlative quality. We (2 teenage kids & 2 parents) stayed here for a few days, and it was just a peaceful, beautiful, extremely comfortable spot! Judith, the owner, went all out to give us any information we may have needed about the locale.Her breakfasts were wonderful, and she even left out incredible chocolate-chocolate chip cookies for guests to enjoy at any time.I really hope we can stay here again sometime, as I felt so well-taken care of in a completely non-invasive way.
