Salsa Saint

Lots and lots of different salsa. This is a cute small store in Old Town Albuquerque. I read that they do samples but on the day we went there were NO samples. That's ok, still a cute store to visit.

This salsa emporium is a welcome addition to Old Town. Impress the crowd at your next get together with an assortment of salsas that will make you the envy of your family and friends. Salsa Saint has the popular salsas that can be found in any Smith's or John Brooks. What makes a trip to this store special are the unique New Mexico salsas crafted by small business owners. There's a bottle to meet the tastes of your craft beer brother-in-law, your uncle who remembers Abuela's cooking and your visitors from Back East that want to try a salsa that is a little wild. I'm sure many of the small producers will be using Salsa Saint as a testbed for new and unique flavors. If you are overwhelmed by the selection the friendly staff will point you in the right direction.

We dropped in while browsing Old Town, and left with four hot sauces AND doubled back for a salsa. The staff member we talked to was phenomenal, so knowledgeable, friendly and made great conversation. She gave us plenty of samples, and helped us narrow down our final selections. She really took her time making sure we had a great understanding of everything we tried! Such exceptional service, I'll definitely be back in the future.

I crave my native NM Chile when I go home to California. I'm so happy I found a store to order some of my favorites online! I received order more quickly than anticipated, and with an extra gift (I'm assuming, or maybe they got the order wrong!)Anyway, they will continue to get my online business and I'll probably pop in to the store the next time I'm in ABQ!

Staff is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about salsa. Great selection of flavors local to New Mexico.
