Today was my first time trying Sal's. It was my partners birthday we got there around noon on a Sunday, I expected more people to be there. We sat in the back room where there is a bar and we were one of two tables. The service was quick and prompt, we are pretty low maintenance. The food was good, we started off with Italian wedding soup and I got a house salad with ranch, it was fine. Our entrees came and partner had chicken fettuccine Alfredo, it needed salt and I thought maybe the serving was kinda small, he loved it. I got the chicken parm and it came with spaghetti marinara and green beans. The chicken was well seasoned but I thought the green beans were unnecessary. We also got garlic bread and meatballs, both of which tasted very fresh so that was a delight.I do intend to go back and try some things that were on the menu that sounded really good, these guys sitting next to us got a huge pepperoni pizza and it looked bomb! Also let me just preface that I'm not the biggest fan of Italian food, so idk if it wasn't for this opportunity, I would stop in on my own. Nothing against Italian food it's just not my thing. Partner enjoyed every last bite, he gets the fettuccini regularly and he was very satisfied! Thank you Sal's!

You know it been years since I've walked through those doors. We're talking precovid! Crazy to think how long ago that was. I still remember when it was Mimmos. Although I heard they got rid of the buffet I found myself looking for a good calzone since my favorite go to spot recently closed their doors for good. Devastated, heartbroken , and a little bit hangry I found myself searching yelp looking for a new go to. Having fond memories or the glory days of Mimmos pizza. I stumbled in wondering if Sals had the same familiar nostalgic taste I remembered. Unsure of the size I ordered 2 pepperoni calzones. Let's just say they were a lot bigger than I'd anticipated. I took my first bite. The cheese and pepperoni was pretty great. I wasn't a big fan of the sauce unfortunately. I'm not sure they use olives in it but it had an olive taste kind of threw off the flavor. I'm not a fan of olives so I didn't really enjoy the sauce. Overall it was a good experience but unfortunately it was like that U2 song "But I still haven't found what I'm looking for!". The staff is pretty friendly. It was weird seeing the old once buffet table redesigned but the layout was still the same which I appreciated. I think I'll stick with the pizza next time I go.

I just moved to the neighborhood and decided to try it for lunch with some friends on a Sunday afternoon. We were greeted immediately and seated near the bar. Our server took our drink order right away. He came back a short while later and took our order. All 4 of us were pleased with our entrees. From beginning to end the food, and the service was unbeatable. I'm so looking forward to coming back. This is definitely going to become my neighborhood spot.

I was here just 3 months ago, but my experience today was so overwhelmingly positive, I had to memorialize it, I ordered the chicken piccata today, with salad and garlic bread. The chicken was so tender, the caper lemon sauce was outstanding. It was literally the best piccata I've ever had. Yum, yum, yum! I also ordered the small spumoni and an expresso. Both delicious and that small was more than two people can handle. I can't even imagine the large. I'm excited to come back. I could go back for dinner! Kudos to the chef! Service was excellent, too!

I was in town for business and felt like Italian for an early dinner. Sal's was a treat. The chicken parmigiana was tender, delicious and not over fried like a lot of places do. I had the "bat and ball" appetizer (a sausage and meatball) was tasty but small - don't get to share. The sausage, especially, was very good. The only "minus" to me was that side of pasta and marinara was a little too watery for me, though the taste of the marinara was good. I wish I could remember my server's name, because she was excellent and the welcome from the staff upon entering was warm and friendly. There is no question that I'll be back and will try to try something else, but the parm will be hard to beat!

Decided to give Sal's a try. Ate here once before the change in management and wasn't impressed. It was pretty busy for an early Thursday evening. A good sign? After a short 30 min wait we were seated. We ordered the cheesy bread appetizer, it was simply cheese atop 1/2 a toasted French Baguette with marinara dipping sauce. Nothing to give it more flavor. For our entrees we had the Gnocchi with marinara and Shrimp Diablo. The gnocchi was overdone and kind of mushy, the marinara was nicely spiced. The Shrimp Diablo was ok, not much heat. The spaghetti was served separately. It came Al dente but overloaded with garlic. Having grown up in an Italian home I really like garlic - but it was too much for me. The food was mediocre at best and disappointing. Unfortunately the change in management didn't effect the food enough for a return trip.

We brought our first party of 8 for a Sunday lunch. It wasn't overly crowded, but busy enough to tell they serve loyal patrons. Service was fantastic and every employee greeted or smiled at us. Prices were very reasonable. Dad had the spaghetti, which he enjoyed, but he's easy to please so it's hard to gauge for a foodie without trying it. Looked pretty basic. Garlic bread was simple and nothing fancy, and everyone said it could be used a lot more garlic. The pizzas were all delicious, and the crust nicely textured. Thin and crispy but flexible to fold the wide slices, and sturdy enough to support the toppings and thick cheese. Some of the pastas sounded great but we were in a pizza mood, so we'll def be back.
