The staff that checked me in and prepared me for my visit with Catherine were caring, efficient and professional. I never have a problem getting what I need when calling in or communicating via the portal. Catherine's knowledge, education and experience are evident. She is up on the latest research and I trust her completely; however, her most important attribute is her level of genuine caring about me, as a whole person. I was cut off from my diabetic medication without warning for not making an appointment. I don't understand how Dr. Sera could knowingly do this and leave me without the proper equipment to treat myself, it feels spiteful and unprofessional. I was not given any sort of warning or sent any messages before being cut off, leaving me with very little options. I was told to schedule an appointment in order to continue receiving my diabetic supplies, when appointments can take weeks to book (but I would not know because I was told to make an appointment ONE HOUR before they closed for the entire weekend)!

During COVID 19 this is the ONLY Doctor that is NOT doing Telehealth. Having multiple issues that could cause me to die from Covid, I did not want to take a chance and go in. Now, because I cancelled the NP appt there (Catherine Soller) states she will no longer prescribe medication for me. Every other specialist in the area, that my family sees, does Telehealth. For them to immediately stop prescribing without trying to figure out ways to see an at risk patient is down right malpractice.

Yes, nice people here. But Beware of billing!!! Wife went in for her routine checkup. She said they asked her if they can look/check her feet. She has diabetes. This is a free service with our primary Dr. every time she see's him. Primary Dr care's about her health. But with Sage Specialty we got billed for her 3 minute check of her feet. Insurance paid some. But we still own $140.+... just for checking her feet. I questioned about this deceptive practice. Asked Why did they not tell her this is a $200 charge. After months of me asking why the dishonesty they took it off. Oh, they never gave me a answer.. Well, 4 months later they started billing us again. We will not go back. Ever. But they are very nice. Till you get a bill.

I've been pretty happy with this provider; they're responsive and I enjoy the waiting area and friendly staff. I'm seen on time when I come for appointments. I've been seeing her for about 6 months now, getting BIOTE pellets implanted. We're still working on my thyroid levels, but so far, it's going well. I also appreciate that I can communicate through a patient portal and get copies of lab results, etc. I feel like Catherine Sollar pays attention to me and cares about me as a person.The most Ive had to wait is about 15 minutes past my appointment time, but it was at the end if the day. I work in healthcare, so I know that sometimes things take longer than they should.

This was my first visit with Catherine Sollar. Wow is all I can say. Extremely knowledgably and explained things to me that my primary would just over look or dismiss. Yes I had to site for awhile in the waiting room, but what doctors office doesn't. I saw complaints about this from another reviewer. There is a reason why it takes so long to get into see here. I was in with her for almost 45 minutes! Excellent bedside manner and genuine concern. Thank you Sage Specialty Care.

Their customer service is very lacking. You get a call back after several days. If they answer the phone you'll be waiting for at least 20 minutes. They have never had my prescription filled correctly.

I really like Sage Specialty Care. They take care of my diabetes and hypothyroidism. My A1C levels have been coming down really well. I'm 80, and they treat me like a functioning adult. Sage Specialty was on the list that Presbyterian Health Services gave me, so Pres covers the visits.

Do NOT go to Sage!!! This place commits insurance fraud. They do not return calls and do not refund money when they screw up their billing charges. I am reporting them to the NM Office of Superintendent of Insurance for fraudulent insurance billing practices.
