Highly recommend my Dr. Medical Assistant, C.....s, is rude and has no business in behavioral health. Blaming everything on the Dr. and repeating it's Monday was unprofessional! I was reaching out due to previous poor outcomes in their "system." Fix your system! It is not working for your patients! You are working for a desperately needed behavioral health center! Drs in this State are desperately lacking!People ask why so many homeless crazy people in Albuquerque?

The doctors at Sage are wonderful but the admin staff seems to be almost non existent. They never answer phone. If you don't schedule while you are in the office, it's impossible to get an appointment.

I read a lot of negative reviews. I'll give the people who try and contact the facility credit. the center is really bad at returning and answering phone calls.... I should probably give a lower rating but my specialist Dr. Holtzgang has never let me down. I've had to call on an "emergency basis" and struggled to recieve an answer but when they called back they made sure I was taken care of. also I used to have a primary care provider here as well as other services. when I asked if I could enroll in primary care I was told they don't offer that service any more. not sure how to accurately rate the company. I have had my expectations both exceeded and neglected. it IS kind of hit or miss. Love my consistent Doc Holtzgang. always caring.

Something has gone terribly wrong with this place! There used to be at least 4 people at the front desk to sign patients in and answer phones. Calls now go directly to voicemail. No return calls so I called back a week later. No human. Days later I called on a whim and by accident got the (new to me) assistant who told me that I would have to be a new patient because I called after a year from my last appointment. How would I know of that deadline? After 5 years of visits with 4 practitioners there. Assistant didn't count the times I called before and hung up! Got a text with no info and 2 weeks later someone called, I answered, they hung up. Was that my return call? It doesn't count!!! Patients ARE leaving not because of the practitioners but because of bad management!

It took me a week of calling nonstop and leaving tons of voicemails for them to finally reach out. My doctor messed up and didn't give me the refills she was supposed to. This medication is very VERY important that you don't miss a dose. I finally had to drive down there (I live 30 minutes away) to talk to them in person. They said the "on call" doctor would call in the prescription because my regular doc was out of office all week, and apparently nobody knew about it. It was never called in, it's a Friday night so now they're closed until Monday and I'm without my medication which probably means I'll need to visit the ER sometime this weekend. I've been a patient here for over 4 years, and this place has slowly gone downhill. My therapist just left this place a week ago, my primary doc just left a month ago, and I've dealt with 4 different med management doctors in 4 years. Do not give this place your time, find another one.

If I could give this facility a negative rating I would. These people never return your calls, you can never get a hold of an actual person, and they don't even respond to my pharmacy. I have been trying to get these people to call me back for 2 weeks, as has my pharmacy. The physician wrote my prescription incorrectly so the pharmacy won't fill it until they can talk to him. He is not calling them back or responding to the pharmacies faxes. As a result I am not getting my medication. This is totally unacceptable and I am also going to file a complaint with the State Board of Medical Examiners. What they are doing here is illegal and should not be allowed. DO NOT EVER GO HERE! It would be a big mistake.

WOW- unbelievable. The scheduler Melanie hung up on me in a rude manner after I made an appointment and would not answer the phone. She could not provide credential information about the clinicians nor wait times and put me on the bottom of the waitlist, but the inital time I was put on the waitlist was Feb 2023. I was not rude in any way and she hung up on me. This is important patient information. I don't know if the owner knows this is happening.

If you are have mental health issues then you need to STAY AWAY from Sage Neuroscience! I was having some tentatively serious issue and was in what I call a "Deep Funk". They were able to get me in to see someone quickly, Apparently this was an initial meeting to assess and assign the best counselor for my issues. So once I understood what was happening and that I was not going to get any time to address my specific issues I stressed that I would really like to get someone quickly to help. I had asked for a male counselor but told my intake interviewer that because I was in this state that I would take anyone and asked that this could happen quickly. After over a week I had not been contacted. I left a message that I was disappointed that my issues were not taken seriously and asked that someone contact me soon. I never got a call back, It's been 2 months and still no contact. Luckily I was able to get through the pressing issues but it confirmed that Sage Neuroscience doesn't care about helping people. IF YOU ARE HAVING MENTAL ISSUES DO NOT GO TO SAGE AS THEY DO NOT CARE!!!

Below is a letter my parents received from Sage Neuroscience Center. Shame on the Executive Team for not providing adequate time for a seamless transfer of primary health care! Dear Valued Primary Care Patient,As we transition from Spring to Summer, we have a few important announcements to share about our Primary Care Clinical. With several changes over the last few years and as a result of the needs secondary to COVID-19, we are refining our vision, going back to our roots, and dedicating our practice to serve our behavioral health patients who are in critical need of primary care services. Please acquaint yourself with the following updates:- After 4 years with the Sage Neuroscience Center (Sage), Dr. Laura Stern will be retiring from her medical practice. Her last day of seeing patients will be 09SEP2021.- Dr. Emily Deaton will also be sifting her focus away from Primary Care at Sage and working with a different population at the New Mexico Cancer Center. Her last day will be 05AUG2021.- If you are a current Primary Care patient and have not been seen for behavioral health treatment at Sage (therapy or psychiatric medication management) in the last 18 months, your care will need to be transferred to a physician outside of our clinical after 16JUL2021. This includes patients being seen for pain management.- Walk-in appointments will not be available after 16JUL2021. Same-day appointments will still be available for more urgent primary care needs. We understand the difficulty of finding a new physician and are sorry for this disruption in your medical care. We suggest you contact your current health insurance carrier for assistance with finding providers taking new patients.
