Bbq was delicious. Service was quick and it was inexpensive. What more can you ask for when on lunch? Way better than fast good and really glad I stopped here. The pulled pork was nice and moist and the bbq sauce was good. Didn't realize the sandwich came with chips so that was a pleasant surprise.

Oh man...I hadn't heard of this place before but given that things are a little dull during QT and the great ratings, we thought we'd give it a shot for dinner. And dang...it was darn good. The portions are hearty, the prices are good (especially for BBQ which tends to be pretty pricey), and (most important), it was the smoky, savory, spicy deliciousness I had been craving. We did a variety of things to try to the different sauces but you can't go wrong with any of them. The Zia Gold was excellent on the pork slider as was the ABQ BBQ (or something like that) on the chicken and brisket. The spicy version was AWESOME but if spice isn't your thing, it might be a bit much. I'd say it has a bit more kick than Rudy's regular sauce so if you struggle with that, go with the regular. The Brisket Fiesta Bowl (ok, basically brisket nachos) was awesome. I mean, nachos and brisket- the perfect marriage. Despite a little bit of a trip, the chips were still relatively crispy which can always be a dicey proposition with takeout nachos. Sometimes you're willing to take the risk and I'm glad we did. Nom nom nomI don't know what else to say- it was everything I was hoping for and craving in some damn good BBQ. We'll definitely be back and can't wait to visit and hang out there in person...eventually. Nice work, guys! Keep it up!

Amazingly delicious barbeque sauce that goes great with the beef brisket, chicken, pork, and sausage on the sliders, but it complements the pork especially well. The smoked potato with brisket is a meal in itself while you'll want two or three sliders to fill you up. We came to Green Jeans on what happened to be their soft opening and are ecstatic that we were able to try it out and have another delicious BBQ place to frequent now. It's right next to Rockin' Taco downstairs outside.

I don't know how this place stays in business for what they charge and the quantity of food they give you. It's mind-boggling. I spent $15 on food there and got a few ounces of meat and coleslaw. It's not enough to fill you up at all at that price. I don't recommend eating here unless you are super desperate. Pretty much that goes for many of the overpriced restaurants in tin can alley. Spend the extra time and go down to Rudy's or somewhere else

I had to use Door Dash to deliver and boy was I happy! Brisket loaded spud. Hot link slider. Green chile mac n cheese and borracho beans. Everything tasted amazing. I tried 2 different kinds of bbq sauce and they were both really good. Thank you SA BBQ. Support local!

We really, really enjoyed this new family owned BBQ joint! First of all, the food is amazing! So is the service! If you are extra, extra lucky, the little girl will be there to brighten your day with the sweetest little smiles! My husband tried the brisket sliders, chile sausage, and the chile sausage sliders. So the chile sausage has ground up red chile inside of it and it was incredible! My husband is THE BBQ hound and he was obsessed. He loved the sauce, the meat, the bread, and the cole slaw (which you can get on the side if you don't want it on the sliders). Now, you CAN buy the meat by the pound if you ask for it - it just isn't listed on the menu!

This is the best BBQ joint we've found in NM (my Texan husband agrees!) We tried the sampler platter first and oh my gosh... everything was to die for! They included nachos, smoked sausage, a brisket slider and a loaded spud. We couldn't help ourselves and got the green chile mac and cheese also. We tried their vegetarian slider made with jackfruit and it tasted just like a regular BBQ slider - so excited about that! They said they are working on a vegan coleslaw so they will be able to have a completely vegan alternative. We've been back for their smoked out spud that is covered in brisket, cheese, butter, chives, spicy bbq sauce and their red chile crema - our FAVORITE. They also had a special on chicken drumsticks wrapped in bacon and smoked, and I could literally eat this every day. We also loved their poppers - smoked is the best way to make a popper!

Stood in line for nearly 10 minutes... No greet..just some dude in an SA shirt who kept popping his head around the corner but was on the phone. (I was theonly person in line besides 2 people behind me) who ultimately had to choose a burger since no help ever came forward... Even the people at the amore and rustic burger registers said nothing like heAbq Journal will be right back, literally nothing. Always had the best experience at tin can alley but this one was a let down for sure. Just some courtesy from anybody could go along way here even just to let us know they'll be with me shortly.

Visited December 28,2020. I stayed at the Hamptons hotel next door and walked down to get some food and the gal at the register recommended the pulled pork nachos and wow! Bomb dot com. I sat down and had some brews from the brewery next door and had a great evening.
