S Cerrillos Shell

I swung by at about four in the morning for gas as I was heading out of town. The convenience store wasn't open at that time, but the pumps were. More importantly they were super brightly lit and clean. There is just something nice about a well lit gas station at zero dark thirty. Considering most of the gas stations in Santa Fe are just super sketchy even in the bright of day, this was a nice change of pace. There were not a ton of pumps, but more than enough at that hour. The price of gas was reasonable, and it was easy to get in and out of as I made my way back to Arizona.

No hours posted for this gas station, It's 1045p, the lady working is mopping and won't come to the door to answer any questions. I'd like to see what time they open? What time do they close? I did the universal *point to watch* trying to get an answer... she blatantly refused to answer. Not sure how things work in this area. As I stand here in front of the gas station writing this review, she comes out and says I need to leave or she's calling the police. In todays climate, I have done nothing wrong, but await an answer. But to call the police for no good reason, and risk my life, you've got to be kidding me. So, local racist, at a shell gas station.I even called, while being ignored... maybe they would answer a question about their hours over the phone... they ignored the call. Did I do something wrong?

We usually stop here for gas on the way to get back on the interstate to go back to Albuquerque. It's a very convenient location on Cerrillos and a quick stop. They do have a notice up that they are applying for a license to sell liquor in the store. There is a RedBox outside and an unexpected view of the mountains. There is some grass (I think it might be synthetic) for your pups to do their business if needed.There are plenty of pumps and parking spaces so everyone can get in and out. It's also a great place to pull over if you need a chance to plug something into the GPS because you are right around a ton of hotels, restaurants, and shopping so it might be time to consider an excursion! All in all, this is a clean place!Oh, and did I mention they sell beer on tap? Yep! You can buy it in a growler to go!

if you close at 2300 why do you all lock the doors at 2240-2245. this is the third gas station I went to and when u drive across town knowing that they close at 2300, not in reality it's 2240 is not right. u should change the time of your not gonna uphold to this, as this the second time it happened at this same store.
