After a major lifestyle change I had some pants that no longer fit. Too expensive to just get rid of and replace. Next best thing? Alteration. Took a shot in the dark and stopped here. I was met by the owner, cheerful and smiling. Tried on, marked and paid for. I'm in no hurry so whenever. Ok come back on ... calls the day before she's having problems can I wait until she returns from a trip. Sure no prob as long as I get them back by... I show up and they're ready. She explains the situation in detail. They're still a little loose - wash and if they're still loose we can take them in more. So you're asking why the great review? She communicated! I didn't show up and told - oh they're not ready come back... she did a great job on the pants and will alter them again if needed. To me that says she is willing to go above and beyond to make customers happy. It's not what happens, it's how do you fix it.

We came here to get some cheer uniforms fitted that were too large and the owner did an amazing job. The appointment was easy to schedule and quick and the uniforms came back fitting amazing. I don't have before pictures but we are so pleased. Will return in the future if ever needing alterations. Price was more than reasonable and amazing service. Quick turnaround. Thanks again

Amazing amazing tailor! I brought my wedding dress here, and she did an incredible job in just a few short weeks, with a completely reasonable fee. The train on the dress is long, and she did a great, easy bustle. I will be bringing any clothes I need done here!

Yevgenia is so incredibly talented! She paid close attention to the detail on my gown and her work was seamless. LITERALLY! You could not tell where she did any adjustments because it looked like the gown was made specifically for my body. My dress was made with custom lace and beading so I was worried about losing the quality that I had paid for, but she did nothing but make adjustments that displayed the customizations. When it came time for my 15 year vow renewal, my gown was nothing less of perfection and my husband cried when he saw me walking down the aisle. I cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience here, and I will continue to come for all of my alteration needs. THANK YOU SO MUCH YEVGENIA! You are amazing!

Yevgeniya and her sister are just amazing seamstresses. Yevgeniya is so friendly and makes you feel very comfortable in asking for what you want in whatever you take her.I needed a bride dress altered and you can imagine with how intricate and layered the typical bride dress is I was nervous to hand it off to anyone. S&F however really know what they're doing and you can trust you'll get the turnover your looking for. They did a hem of 5 layers, a bustle, tapered my sleeves, and added boning to the sides of my dress to have it maintain its shape. It's a mermaid/ trumpet style bride dress by the way.Parking here is easily found, she has a changing area and a giant wall mirror for you to see how your item fits you. For a wedding dress or something similar I'd say to bring the undergarments and shoes for the most accurate measurements. I'd say to call to make an appointment. Every time I called I was able to be seen that same day.I highly recommend coming here if you're on the west side or even if you're at least near uptown or old town because it's not a far drive. I will definitely be taking in other items like jeans and coats that don't fit right in the future.

We are from out of town and needed a tailor with a quick turnaround. S&F was able to get our item done in 24 hours. Great response time, quality work and friendly. We definitely recommend S&F for your alterations!

Yevgeniya was absolutely amazing with my hem, straps and bustle for my wedding dress. She was brilliant with her execution and she is extremely talented. I recommend her skills with my wedding dress and any other type of dress.

S & F did absolutely amazing job with my alteration needs! I have had three dresses altered (engagement dress, bridesmaid dress, and my wedding dress) and all three of them were wonderfully altered. I'm 5'3'', and usually need dresses altered and can be discouraged by how clothes fit. However, all three of the dresses I had altered here fit very well afterwards! My wedding dress needed a lot of alterations to fit, and I was so happy with how it turned out. I appreciate the attention to detail and precision that was considered for my wedding dress. Highly highly recommend!
