We had the best time at Rustica for dinner tonight! I'm super allergic to soy and it is very hard to find allergy conscious, allergy friendly restaurants that are aware that people are allergic to soy. Too often I've had restaurateurs take the easy route of saying "all their food has soy" or none of their food has soy. Both statements are false. Rustica is different! They have made it a conscious effort to accommodate people with allergies, including gluten intolerance and soy allergies! I am so very grateful to find a place to eat that cares about BOTH catering to their customers' allergy/health needs AND make an awesome meal! The owners of Rustica make taking care of all customers their mission and they have also extended their care to The Ranch (across the street from Rustica). We're going to go there later this week. As you will see, the Tiramisu was fabulous! My husband had the bolognese and he said it was delicious! I tried the Cresto de Gallo with Calabrian Pepper Cream Sauce. I was ambitious and went for the Cresto, but (sad to say) this Texan found it a bit hot. I know ... crazy - right!? But Calabrian peppers are 10x as hot as a jalopeno. So, yeppers, it was too hot for a relaxing dinner but it tasted so good! I switched to the lasagna and it was a solid meal, no soy in sight! Dessert came with Tiramisu and Affagoto. Both were delish! Definitely definitely recommend Rustica! Allergy people have a place to go in Santa Fe! Whoop! Sarah was a terrific waitress! The manager went out of the way to make sure we were taken care of and we were!!! Thank you Rustica Team!!!

We visit Santa Fe pretty frequently and we have been back to this place several times. It is a nice casual ambiance and the service we have had has been good enough to return! Now, let's get to the food. I am in love with the arugula/gorgonzola roasted pear salad, I also really like their calamari! Not being a huge fan of lasagna/pizza/spaghetti- those 2 are my go to's. I tried the wild mushroom ravioli this last visit, and that was pretty good too! The pizza is very good pizza as well.

I came here with a friend and the food definitely didn't disappoint! The restaurant is beautiful and has so much natural light. Roberto, our server, was amazing! He was so attentive and friendly. Definitely recommend coming here and if Roberto is working, ask for him, you won't regret it!

enjoyed our lunch here. Food was very good, came out in a timely manner, prices are reasonable. I would suggest to management they give Italian lessons to their servers so they pronounce Italian food correctly.

Being a native New Mexican, I was surprisingly done with my NM cuisine this last visit lol. Met an old friend here for lunch en route back to the sunport, as I randomly chose this restaurant via google and she had been here once before and stated that it was excellent. Well, she was spot on! The service was a little slow being that they weren't very busy during the late lunch crowd, but it wasn't terrible at all, and the servers were very nice and friendly.I ordered the caprese sandwich and upgraded from fries to a house salad for 1.00 (sandwich and side was 15.75). My friend ordered the spaghetti and a side of garlic bread, and my other friend ordered chicken parm which came with a side of pasta for 19.75). Everything was delicious and fresh, which makes a big difference! One of my friend's and I ordered a glass of wine each, and my other friend ordered an iced tea.Apparently, this used to be a former Outback Steakhouse (I never knew one existed in Santa Fe) & this is a family run business. The entire restaurant is very modern, clean, warm, and inviting; so much that I am headed back to NM for my birthday in September and I told my friend's and mom that this is the place I want to celebrate my birthday at!

We were looking for a nice modern Italian restaurant and we found it. Rustica is a nice casual Italian dining. My daughter and I are out in a girls weekend and we are trying several new and different places in Santa Fe. We started with the Arancini, fried rice balls, and eggplant timbale. Both were very good and unique. I'm not an eggplant fan yet I liked this. Their red sauce is very good as well. My daughter had the braised chuck roast and I had the bolognese. The beef was so tender you could separate it with your fork. The red wine gravy was very tasty. The bolognese was a very nice rich red sauce with plenty of meat. The noodles were Al dente, a little firmer than cooking at home. Both were served nice and hot. The server was friendly and answered our questions. The restaurant was a little loud with chatter and soft music playing. The bathrooms are very nice, clean and accessible. A very nice experience.

Another Happy Hour visit to explore more of the menu. We decided to order lunch dishes, rather than apps this time. The spaghetti was very fresh, bright, herbaceous. Lovely! The salmon was cooked perfectly and the pesto was delicious. The accompanying side with diced veggies, was a bit salty, but overall a nice dish.My companion had the strawberry margarita for her dessert course. She gave me a sip, and it was tart, sweet, and completely yummy. As always, the restaurant was clean and neat, and our waitress was helpful and made our experience lovely.

First time here w friends was very disappointed in the food and service. We ordered the salmon & polenta the salmon arrived with zero polenta and was swimming/drowning in sauce completely overwhelmed the fish. When I tried to find a waiter to notify we were missing a main component of our meal no one was to be found. When one finally appeared their response was, "oh that was our old menu, it doesn't come with polenta". Our first visit, the menu clearly said salmon w/ polenta, finally got a mgr who told us the kitchen forgot to put the polenta on the plates even though we were half finished with the meal and brought it to the table. The bolognese was the same, huge amount of sauce overpowering the whole dish. Tried to mention it to the mgr politely, didn't seem to reach.

Looking to try something other than our usual places in Santa Fe. Easy to find and plenty of parking. Walked in and was seated in the bar area. Drinks ordered & menu scanned - ok this is going to be harder than I thought. A bread basket while we decide. Slices of focaccia & olive breads with olive oil, basalmic vinegar & a honey labneh(never had this before). The labneh was delicious, sweet and mixed well with both olive oil & basalmic. Could have eaten more of this by itself. We decided on a 10" Wild Mushroom pizza. It was the right size for 2 - even then there was some left over. It had a great flavor. The Gorgonzola cheese added a different dimension in taste. It was a good stop and we'll have to come back to try the pasta dishes.

Went there for lunch, first time, experience was great, except for the annoying middle aged "boy" who was there with his mommy and wouldn't shut up. We ordered the arancini which was great. I got the lasagne delicious. My fiancé got the shrimp dish it had two shrimp which were not cleaned but everything else was great. The wine was good, i got the milk stout delicious. Just wished the boy woulda shut up for at least 5 seconds. Waitress was awesome as well
