This was my first time visiting this business. It is located in the El Vado food court at the El Vado Motel on Central. Just know that the parking here is limited. And I don't know what other parking lot there is other than the one that is located Thankfully, I was able to find parking at the time that I visited. I tried a Chocolate Chip cookie and a Keto Samoa cookie. They were both pretty good. The chocolate chip had a sprinkling of sea salt on top, which for some reason brought out the flavor more. I enjoyed it very much. As for the keto cookie, that was amazing! Had chocolate and caramel swirled into the cookie. I should have bought another one. I think I'll have to get it again the next time I visit. I received good customer service, which is hard to come by these days. Especially during this pandemic! This place is definitely a must try kind of place! I appreciate that there is a place like this to go to and visit especially during these hard times. Thank you! I'll be back.

I'm so excited to see Rude Boy El Vado open again! I've been wanting to come here for a long time now. On a sunny Saturday, there were a lot of people taking in the smells and sights of El Vado. RBC had a collection of cookie dough pops, ice cream, ice cream sandwiches, and several different kinds of cookies and bars. I got the red velvet ($2), oatmeal toffee ($2), and 2 of the keto samoa bars for $4 each. The samoa bar, although messy, had the right amount of chocolate (I love plenty) and the red velvet was soft, cakey, and big. It was the kind of cookie you have dreams about My dad loved his oatmeal cookie. Glad to help support a small business. Will be back soon to enjoy a cookie in the sunshine!2021 #4

Rude Boy is one of those places that you pretend you're going to for the kids, but it's for you. It's the kind of cookie/ice cream combo people sneak out to enjoy secretly because cravings, sugar addiction, and comfort food. I have never had anything here that wasn't delicious, but I really think they nail the classics best. Chocolate chip cookies surrounding chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream is how you win my heart. I have only one single complaint... we need napkins, man! Haha.

I went to get cookies for a special occasion. While the cookies tasted good and were average size was not worth the purchase. While the location has a lot of space to hang out the cost is who holds me back from going again.

I've loved Rude Boy for a long time. I'm pretty discontented with the fact that they sell masks but when I was ordering a 1/2 dozen cookies the white-masculine-presenting person with curly hair was walking around talking in the back, moved to the front, realized the folks (me) at the window, those waiting were masked, the cashier was masked, etc. So, he pulled his shirt over his face... diapered than came back in with a mask on. Also, NO ONE was wearing gloves. I didn't see the cashier sanitize her hands after I used cash... Sigh... 2020 has me feeling bad about these reviews because the cookies are packaged separately (which is just wasteful if your not following the mask, glove, or wash hands mandate). I LOVE RUDE BOY! Please follow the Governors orders so people are safe, you can stay open, and no one dies because they ventured to get cookies they assumed were extra safe because they are individually wrapped. I love your selection, shakes, ice cream, staff, set-up, and that you're a small, black-owned business. I want you to THRIVE, but let's follow the 2020 Pandemic rules. Please get me back to my 10/10- 5 star review because that is usually where you rank with your soft, warm, amazingly exciting variety, and fairly priced menu items.

When driving from the Westside of town I couldn't wait to try a low carb alternate sugar dessert called,"Keto Samoas." I order one to eat and the rest to go. When I bit into this yummy deliciousness you can taste the almond shortbread, coconut, Carmel and chocolate all in one bite it was a perfect blend. When I was done eating the keto Samoas bar, I was satisfied with sweets. I asked the lady what they used for the ingredients and she said Stevia. I was really impressed. **Due to Covid you cannot go into the shop, but they conveniently have a small walk up window where you can place your order. They do have a place to sit, a patio table with 2 chairs only. I have been on keto and also low carb close to 4 years. I am happy that a lot bakeries are keeping up with low carb no sugar added items for people like me, also people who are diabetic. I'm also happy that most bakeries use better alternative sugars like; stevia, xylitol, erythritol, instead of using Splenda and other bad alternative sugars.

So glad that Rude Boy Cookies was at El Vado and they were open till 8pm on a Tuesday night. So that was great. We tried just about everything on the menu!Chocolate chip cookie, red velvet, peanut butter, biscochitos, sugar cookie, gold bar, and some ice cream. The presentation was the best. Once all our items were ready the nice young man handed me a pizza box filled with all our items. It was pretty cool!

I really didn't think the food at the boutique El Vado Motel could get any better, and then, suddenly... ONE STEP BEYOND!So let's put this whole thing together. This delightful patio offers just about everything: Chicken wangs and pizza, chargrilled burgers, tacos, fabulous coffee, Costa Rican delights, craft beer and now... friggin' GOLD BARS, people. No, seriously, before I wax poetic on the other goodies, let's take a moment to break down why the Gold Bar is, similar to the Frito Pie, an Albuquirky treat of Olde Schoole lore. Correct me if I'm wrong about these two notes, which my wife provided:-- Gold Bar crusts come in two varieties: Rice Krispy or graham cracker. The top layer is pure chocolate, and chocolate's greatest lover, peanut butter, is the secret ingredient that brings everything together.-- Every Burqueño who attended public school, back in the day, knows why Gold Bars are friggin' golden. Back in the day, they cost just twenny-five cent on Fridays. Bam! Those were the days. Gold Bars at The Beach...This cool little Rude Boy nook serves up the Rice Krispy varietal (we've just discovered that Trifecta Coffee Co. has the graham style, FYI) and man, they're rich and dee-licious. But don't stop there, Rudy. This location offers plenty of ice cream, cookies (Biscochitos!), shakes and floats. And check out those waffle cones, wow! All told, this is about the only thing the El Vado was lacking, and I'm super thrilled they're here. (One quick note regarding my geekery, concerning this particular company. Yes, I'm one of those peeps who really, REALLY got into Third Wave ska, as well as every preceding wave, and I still rock Operation Ivy every now and then. I'm super proud this business embraces my old pair of two-tone suspenders.)

The cookies were so good and tasted like they were made with natural ingredients. I'm not big on sweets but got these for my partner and really enjoyed the oatmeal toffee. She really like all of them, peanut butter, double chocolate, chocolate chip, and red velvet. Highly recommend.
