Ruckus Paintball

There are three distinct fields that cater to all play types. The staff is helpful, friendly and make sure you and your group are having a great time. Rentals are also available and are in good quality. This will now be our first choice in paintball fields in the Albuquerque area.

Took a buddy here for his birthday and had a really great/memorable time. You can rent everything you need out here including (buy)paint balls. The courses are well put together and the group of guys were very friendly and helpful!

First time playing paintball ever was with 007 paintball! I would definitely go back again (but this time bringing some armor or padding to wear under my clothes to avoid all the bruises that I'm covered in). 007 Paintball has three courses to play in and as a participant, you have an all-day pass to play all the paintball your little heart desires. It was fun, painful, and great exercise!!! I got dirty and covered in paint, but loved every second of it. The staff was very informative and did a good job answering all of our questions (and boy did we have a lot of questions), especially since we were total newbies to the sport/hobby of paintball. They do provide masks, guns, and paint balls at a fee to use, but you cannot go out on the field without it. Each of the fields are surrounded by netting, so you can safety spectate if you want to sit one of the games out. Each time you hit the field, you are divided into two teams and each assigned different parts of the field to begin. Then you play one more round, and during the second game, you are assigned the opposite part of the field you started with. I went with my daughter, son, husband, father, and sister -- sometimes we were teamed together, other times we were not. The referees were very understanding about the fact, that I was to ALWAYS be teamed up with my 14 year old daughter, as I was her "protector" since she was so young. We played 10 games, and by that time, we were exhausted. Masks are a very crucial part of the game and you cannot ever take it off on the field, even when the game ends, you take it off when you leave the field and head back to your table... which they make very clear in the directions. After playing the game, I was covered in bruises from the paint balls hitting my clothes (and I was wearing layers), this was no fault of the company, it is just how paint ball is. Overall, it is a fun time and you get to embrace your competitive edge during this hardcore sport. :)

Everyone at Ruckus has a great attitude, good people to play against and will help with giving you pointers. Great place to play paintball or airsoft, with updated speedball and wood ball style fields.

What a great place. Staff is very friendly and professional. Safety is their focus. Prices are better than other places in town. Great fun for all ages.

As an inexperienced paintballer I was nervous to say the least. The owner and staff go above and beyond to insure you have a great experience. The rental equipment is top notch and the fields are exciting. Highly recommend for first timers, experienced players and group related activities. Can't recommend this place enough. Thanks for everything Ruckus.

**Warning about this place**Do not bring your family here.NOT SAFE!!!My friends and I went to this place for the first time today and left furious. Everything was going well, the owner is nice and the games are really fun. Unfortunately, a team who holds a membership with them arrived and everything changed. They tell everyone that their first rule is safety, but this went out the window as soon as these "high roller" players came in. They disobeyed all of the rules without a word from the refs who witnessed everything. The final straw for us was when it turned dangerous. The ref allowed the guys to shoot woman and children in the head at pointblank range with no warning. People left the field bloody and in pain.This establishment cares more about keeping their membership players happy than keeping you safe. Consider another field for your paintball day.

Great business. Plenty of room to run around in the 3 different arenas. Also had a picnic area for us to bring food and a grill that we could use. Took very good care of my US Army group of soldiers. Many said that they will be coming back and bringing their families. Zero complaints! Thank you for the awesome time!
