Route 66 RV Park

I have mixed reviews on this RV park. We stayed one night and were disappointed with our space. It was full of old cigarette butts and weeds. There are 2 dog runs. Both trashcans were full of dog poop and hadn't been emptied in a while. On the other hand, the laundry room and shower area was very clean and looked like it had been remodeled recently. They also added a dog wash tub and new fencing around one of the dog runs. It also looked like they are adding new picnic tables. So I think the owners are trying to improve the park.

We spent two weeks here while visiting family. We were in a 22' travel trailer. The property is laid out to fit a large number of campers. Some areas had a few trees to help cast shade and add a bit of privacy, but that is not consistent through the park. Our spot was completely gravel. This is not unreasonable and we came to spend time in New Mexico not relax in an RV park.The park did have several amenities that were surprising. They retain a BBQ food truck on the property. It was pretty good and we ate there several times. A large inflatable jump pad was available to the kids as well. They enjoyed it once or twice.The laundry and shared restrooms were ok. Customer service was fantastic. We felt welcomed and that our business was appreciated. The price was reasonable.

Clean safe park with barbecue food truck ! All the staff was friendly just whatever you do don't walk on the grass next to the playground the groundskeeper was not thrilled that my toddler and i walked through the grass . Awesome playground though! Nice grocery store closeby and Walgreens in case of personal needs ! They also have a cute gift shop

A perfect one evening stay. They are very friendly.Easy on and off interstate. Bare minimal sites but all the essentials are available. Small town not to far away for incidentals or a quick bite. It was quiet during the evening. Would return if in the area.

We were there for one night on trip home to Arizona. Basically clean. Lots of long term rv'ers, site 40 was not level. Laundry clean. Showers clean. Wish showers were separate from toliets AND VERY UNACCEPTABLE that Laundry/Showers were closed for cleaning from 6:00AM to 8:00 AM when people are getting up in the morning. Otherwise, not bad RV campground.

Clean restrooms and showers. WiFi was not great. Location was close to town. Edgewood is a great town to stay. Close to Albuquerque. Recommend Pizza Barn if you're eating out.

It's an okay place but 61 dollars a night just to park an Rv and sit there is insane

If you are looking for a dump station when traveling through the Albuquerque area on I-40, the Route 66 RV Park in Edgewood, NM has a dump station that has plenty of room for a big rig to park temporarily at the dump station, and also plenty of room for big rigs to drive through to their camp locations while your rig is parked at the dump station. The RV park is about a mile off I-40 on old Route 66. The dump station area is fairly flat for good drainage of black and grey tanks, and the dump opening is slightly below the road level, so there are no issues with low trailer drains being able to drain properly. When entering the RV park, check in at the tiny office in the middle of the park near the entrance. Take the first left turn when coming into the park so that the dump station will be on your driver's side. Drive to the north area of the property. The trash dumpster is just to the west of the dump station. The dump fee was $15 on 7/17/2023. We have not stayed at this RV park, but have used the dump station quite a few times over the years. The RV park has been upgraded and enlarged over the last few years, and appears to be a nice location for short term and long term guests. The management team has been very helpful and friendly to us over years that we have utilized their facilities.

Cute little park. Easy on and off the hwy. didn't hear any highway noise. We stayed one night. There was quite a bit of snow still on the ground. Site was a pull-thru mostly level. Roads were clear to the bathrooms and dog area. Would stay again.
