Round1 Bowling & Arcade - Albuquerque

This place is a great place to take your kids or to go feel young again. They have many game options and a variety of activities. I love their game play option to have unlimited play for up to 90 minutes. Their service was pretty good. They have ice cream cones for .99 my kids loved that! They were nice big cones of blue bell ice cream. The environment is a little loud but what else do you expect. I would recommend it and definitely come back.

A bunch of claw games I grabbed a couple of items and cashed out some tickets for prizes. I heard the ice cream was like $1/scoop BUT it's not BlueBell. So I probably won't get any from there. Went on like a Thursday night and there weren't too many people in there.

What a great spot to burn anywhere between one hour to a full day! Given that there is an arcade (their main attraction), bowling, and pool, there is not a lack of things to do for sure.My girlfriend and I opted to just play at the arcade and loaded our player card with the $55 package which gave us probably around three to four hours of playtime which seems like a decent deal to me! The more money you load onto your card, the more extra free credits you receive. I feel like I need to take a star off though because the bathrooms are not the cleanest (but neither are the ones in the mall that Round1 is located inside) and many of the machines we wanted to play were either out of order or just ate our credits without giving us playtime. Tip: player cards bought from other states may not work due to franchises using different gaming software.

We took the kids to bowl. They have Spark which is an interactive system that allows you to play typical bowling or different types of games. Essentially it adds some flair to mundane bowling. The line to sign up and pay took a bit but eventually someone came to help the growing line. The kids had fun bowling. They have bumpers and they have a dinosaur that helps folks roll the ball down the lane. It's loud but that's to be expected. It is bowling after all. They have 99 cent scoops of ice cream, some food, and a bar.

Went to Round One and had a great time. David was so helpful getting us credits on our card and helped us with our purchase. We weren't sure if it would fit and David opened it up and it fit !!! What a great day at Round One!!Thank you David

1/2022: RECOMMEND, but 3.5 stars if possible due to 2 details:If able, go during the WEEKDAY for Unlimited bowl until 5pm for $11.99. I've hurt my arms & shoulders from bowling way too many games during this inexpensive time and improved my bowling scores. (Thank you Round 1). I've enjoyed going to Round 1 to relax and enjoy the oversized Pac-man game and bowl some stress away. I have not tried the food nor drinks there because I just go in to play games.Mostly clean, spacious and social distancing protocols are in effect. Team members were constantly cleaning. My only negative comment is that no one has cleaned the escalator entrance and it looks unwelcoming/unsightly. Overall, give Round 1 a try and see what you think about it. Enjoy the games!

Had low expectations coming here for a surprise bday party. Horrible reviews, but overall I was actually impressed, likely from my low bar. We were expecting no bar, but they did have a bar, cash only unfortunately though. Beer pitcher reasonable like $17 or something, mango cart is good. Food is overpriced to be expected. Only had the nachos, which were pretty bad. We reserved a karaoke room and interestingly could not drink alcohol in there. I assume to avoid underage drinking? Still odd though given they sell alcohol there. Awkwardly drinking outside the door of our room. Many, many video games. They have Time Crisis! My old ass got nostalgic, used to play with my cousin. The right hand gun is a little messed up, couldn't play normally had to use my other hand to quickly pull the trigger in hopes it would fire appropriately. The halo game is 4 player, way fun! Gives feedback as you fire which was fun. Pretty expensive to play games though, definitely not something you could do regularly. We'd probably be back.

I love this place, but I think depending on what you're looking for you'll either have a great time or have some things left to be desired. I mainly go for the Japanese arcade games, so I can be in there for hours and have the money I spent on my card stretch far because the Japanese games are cheaper than the regular ones (time card is also available). I find it to be a great deal. Food can be hit or miss but today everything was fast, efficient, and delicious. Manage your expectations on what you want out of this place and you'll definitely enjoy yourself!

Do NOT order a cocktail, bartender took 30 mins to make 2 drinks, by far the slowest service I've ever seen, other than that would recommend

Such a friendly place to be & this service is quick and the drink was amazing .Jadrian was quick & made the drinks really good
