Honestly we were concerned about this company when we read all the bad reviews. Looking at other companies ratings it seemed as if no one was good. We decided to try them anyway and we've been glad ever since. The office staff was friendly and professional. They answered all our questions. Then we met Hector. This young man was just wonderful. He was so polite and so friendly. He took the time to explain everything. He made sure we both understood all of the oxygen equipment. Hopefully Hector stays there because he is an asset to this company. Again, we would recommend them as a good company.

This company has been providing oxygen supplies for my husband for nearly 10 years, ever since he has had to have oxygen with his CPAP and supplemental during the day. For the entire time, he has had his oxygen tanks replenished whenever needed (they will come to the house to deliver only four or more tanks), and the delivery guys have ALWAYS been at the house between noon and 1:00 p.m. on Wednesdays. Except today.The office called Hubby yesterday to determine what, if anything, he needed for replenishment, and he told them he needed five (5) small tanks only. Today, he waited from noon until nearly 3:30 p.m. for the delivery and the delivery guy had on his records that he needed five small and two large tanks. This complaint is primarily about the office staff at this business. My husband is a VA patient, and as such, he HAS to use Major Medical, as they hold the contract with the VA. EVERY TIME when Hubby calls their office, he first has to press '1' for VA patients, and then listens to the phone ring and ring and ring until he can leave a message. Today, his message wasn't answered for almost two hours. The office staff can't seem to get orders correct.The change in the delivery time today is due to "a change in the way they are doing things." We wonder why the customers weren't notified of this change, rather than sitting home, losing several hours worth of work (we operate a small service business out of our home). It would be a simple matter for the caller yesterday, when she called to ask what he needed for replenishment of his supplies, to advise him that the delivery times have been changed and that the delivery wouldn't be made until after 3:00 p.m. We get the distinct feeling that the office staff, which seems to turn over rather frequently, doesn't really care that their customers might be inconvenienced or otherwise disturbed.We are definitely hoping that the VA will change suppliers the next time the contract comes up for re-bidding.

Major Medical is just like all other corporate DME provider. They inflate bills with charges like $20.00 a month for PAP Modem rental for a device that is a built in part of the machine. They are not ethical enough to be used car salesmen. Run, don't walk away.

As a disabled veteran, Major Medical provides my supplemental oxygen supplies. I have received outstanding service during the seven years I've been on supplemental oxygen. Occasionally I've had to call for assistance or information or to discuss an issue with a supervisor. I've always met with rapid response time and quality equipment. If I need something extra, like a portable oxygen concentrator for a trip, they gladly make arrangements on a short term basis. Highly recommended by me.

Make an informed decision. Azleah will change your prescription for DME because she says, "she knows what the insurance will pay for". She lied that the order was submitted twice, she even offered a reference number. The order was never submitted. They never made a single call to me. I had to call every time. I finally called back and spoke to the manager, Eric. Laid out the entire scenario and requested a call back with resolution or update if not resolved within 24 hours. He stated, "I can't, I have PTO. Let's forward you on to a different provider."Find yourself a company with integrity. You can see the Better Business Bureau rating and reviews. This is not a one time event or isolated experience.Update:I reached out as requested and have had no response in 2 weeks. They add this to make people think they are a legitimate business.

We did not choose this company and actually had never heard of it prior to them being assigned. My husband was discharged from the hospital with home health and oxygen. The initial delivery was timely and tech was pleasant but the casual handling of the small tanks and seemingly little concern about where we put them until we asked (we have worked in healthcare and unsecured tanks are a big deal). His oxygen demands increased and we needed to supplement with the tanks even with a concentrator. When we got an order for a high flow concentrator we were almost our of tanks so when the delivery came we asked if we could have tank replacement and were told there was a tank shortage and that the 5 tanks were part of our "inventory" and somehow that would mess things up. He finally agreed to exchange 2 tanks. We then ended up with Hospice and another DME provider who was excellent. When my husband passed I called them to pick up their stuff and was given the recurring message that they were in our area on Thursday and Friday only and that was it! I asked about "tank shortage" and surely they would want them. No way. Pickup finally occurred on Thursday and he did have a cart this time. The final straw was last night when I received a text message from them inviting me to visit their store and purchase a portable oxygen concentrator and get 50% off an accessory. Interesting that they told us they didn't have any in stock!

Do your homework!!! This company is a complete "clown show"!!!Customer service and the sleep center call center is located in a 3 world country.I have never had such terrible service!!!The head clown Eric is rude, nasty and very unprofessional. Read their reviews. They had a "D" with the BBB. Now they're not accredited at all. You will regret every day if you choose to use this company for your CPAP needs!!!

I used to think this was the worst company in Albuquerque. I understand they are getting paid less for necessary services like home oxygen delivery but that is NO EXCUSE for such lousy customer service. Is it really so much to ask that you call to arrange a delivery with a 2 hour window? What about calling your next delivery to let them know you are on your way? Common courtesy things that could make your business world class like you advertise.While we're at it, how about hiring people that can read. The harassment, and that's what it is, of my spouse for paperwork from her doc about her DME is so bad, I'm considering BBB complaine as well as DOHNM and Medicare. Just need to find the forms.If you have a choice, DO NOT USE this company.

My husband gets his oxygen supplies for his Cpap machine from Major Medical thru the VA. They are an excellent company. They call to see if he needs supplies and come on a regular basis to make sure the concentrator is working correctly. The employees we have dealt with have always been very helpful and courteous. This company is a joy to work with unlike the company HME specialists I am required by my insurance company to deal with to get my sleep supplies for my Vpap machine. Even considering changing insurance companies so I can get my supplies from Major Medical.
