Just had one of the lunch specials at Rose Garden. I had the Kung Pao chicken which was good. The hot and sour soup was the best I've ever had and the egg roll was okay. The serving was huge so I saved half for later. I usually don't care for breaded meat dishes because the breading gets soggy by the time you get home. It only works when they package the sauce in a separate container like some do for sweet and sour chicken. I don't know if they do this. Definitely will recommend. Especially for the hot and sour soup. First time here so I can't say what my favorite dish is so I will update when i get the chance to try more. It is true that the young girl at the desk isn't friendly but I don't care. I came for the food. What is funny is that after she took my order I took a paper menu to my car, which took about 30 seconds, and when I came back in to wait for my food, she forgot that she just took my order and said, "Can I help you?" I guess I don't leave a lasting impression, even after 30 seconds. I have tried 3 Chinese restaurants since moving here and so far this Rose Garden is my favorite.

This is only the second time I've been to this restaurant but each time they are very friendly we ordered ahead and by the time we got there, the food was actually ready when they said it would be so that's always a big plus. The food was very good and the five of us two adults and three children all really enjoyed it and definitely will come back here and if you get a chance, try them up.

The fried wonton was nasty. The meat was hard in the wonton. The wonton soup was not good. The wonton wrap was thick and it was a weird color. worst chinese foods i've ever had. Fried rice has big slices of onion. ong. no! eat the chinese frozen stuff at Trader joe's. It's better.

Really enjoyed everything! Two kinds of lo mein - fork and chicken/vegetables, sweet and sour chicken, chicken and vegetables, fried and steamed dumplings, pork fried rice, and egg drop soup! Great taste in everything! Zero complaints! Highly recommend!

Pretty good find and I will definitely try to check out Rose Garden again! It was a pretty busy weekend day for me! I had been out of my home since 7:30am and had appointments back to back that I didn't have anything to eat/drink until 4:30pm other than a Starbucks mocha Frappuccino and cheese danish that I ate a little before 8am. I had another appointment at 5:30pm and was early in the area..so I basically just chanced my luck and pick Rose Garden to eat because it was one of the two restaurants in the big lot that I happened to pull into.I was pleasantly surprised by a large menu of Chinese food (granted, I rarely ate American Chinese food these days....ok..minus some Panda Expres habit that I hadseveral years ago). I didn't know what to pick and ended up picking Dragon/Phoenix (I had no idea what it was..but it looked like some combo of 2 meats...so I just randomly picked it out). I was pleasantly surprised that it seemed they had cooked my meal for me fresh to order (I waited around 10 min...and it was all good for me!).I also liked that they had quite a large place for you to sit (everyone ordered at the same window whether you want to pickup or eat in). All their eat-ins are self-serviced....so no one is there to bother you. Plus, they trust you enough to equip you with utensils, sauces, napkins for you to grab on your own..which was nice.What's more was...I was pleasantly surprised by how fresh, hot and tasty the meal was. Turned out Dragon Phoenix is a combo of lightly spicy orange chicken and Shrimp with veggie white sauce...yumm!! I knew I was hungry...but I ended up eating half of the meal in one go! (and their order is quite huge!). It wasn't so much because it was because I was hungry..but also because the food tasted good that I couldn't really stop myself from eating! Overall, very happy I tried this place..and I would think of stopping by this place again if I'm looking for something to eat around this area!

To be honest, was turned off by the fact it was takeout only. But when I got my order you can sit inside and eat. Ordering was easy online. Ordered egg rolls, I only got one egg roll. I think I paid for two, but the egg rolls are okay. Egg drop soup is the bomb. I think the taste is perfect taste. Comes with crunchy noodles. Also the pork fried rice was great! Think I found my fried rice place. Wow. They add the red pork and it was so good

Best chicken lo mein in town!!! Very reasonable prices and if you're on the fence, you can't go wrong with a lunch special. Two locations to choose from and your food is always ready in twenty minutes or less. I'm a Chinese food snob and this actually passes my test!!! Little to the dining room... it's not much to write home about in terms of ambiance... I've always just done takeout and it's primarily take out but the service is A1! Best flavors, freshest everything... short staffed (but that's typical!!?) with young kids working but that's not a bad thing... the food is fabulous!!!

This is the 3rd chinese restaurant weve tried since we moved to this part of the city. One was not good, and one of them was good. Rose Garden is good. We've ordered three times from Rose Garden. Last night i got the pork lomein, shrimp roll, my daughter got the dumplings, and lomein. Husband got pepper steak. Everything was so good! And things didnt seem like they sat around and got cold. Everything tasted fresh. Nothing was overcooked. The crispy things actually stayed crisp.

One reason for 5 stars, it's the egg foo young. Chaotic passage to savory delights, this inefficiently designed cubby hole of a restaurant has some tasty dishes. We've yet to explore their more exotic menu items. But traditional American Chinese food is amazingly good. General Tso, egg foo young, phoenix and dragon, salt and pepper anything, sweet and sour anything, Orange or lemon chicken are all so good. Just be prepared to deal with the chaos at the front desk. It's very disorderly and they a very young girl taking orders in between studying for school. The boba drinks are all good, especially Thai tea. I asked for extra spicy and nearly burned my face off. It was great. There was a review criticizing the dine-in experience, saying that you had to go back to the desk to get food. But it was completely untrue. When you specify to dine-in, you will get your food served at the table. Just order at the desk, there are no servers. Plan accordingly. They are busy for a good reason. Enjoy.
