First time in Santa Fe from Virginia Beach. Hubby and I was browsing around something caught my eyes the fringe leather bag and the fringe bootcut pants one of the kind . David was very helpful, friendly . He didn't rush me to buy. I'm very fussy lady . I'm happy with his service.

Amazing shop with a very friendly staff. Kathy was my personal shopper. She made you feel like you were shopping with a friend. She even recommended a great place to have lunch. Wow. Looks like a few people have had really bad experiences here. That's too bad. This place was colorful and filled with jewelry--evidently, that's their main thing. They also had a case of retooled/ embellished Louis Vuitton bags, if the simple brown with logo doesn't meet the expectations of your bedazzler loving heart. They had some flowy, hit the buffet table without shame or fear of busting some buttons shifts, dresses and skirts. Felt like one of the sales ladies was following me around the store like a bad, obvious tail like a cop. It made me feel uncomfortable. Another staff lady was overly eager to describe who made what or what the material of the item was without being asked. Hey, can I just look around and signal if I want a rundown on where the sheep were raised before giving up their wool for this rainbow colored item.

If you like over-solicitous, garrulous, obnoxious sales people, you will not enjoy being in this store. On the other hand, if you like to be followed around a store by a sales person who starts gabbing about every single item you try to admire, you will like this place. I, for one, cannot abide "hard sell" sales people who destroy a quiet environment with their constant blather about whatever item I set my eyes on. I like to examine merchandise while I contemplate what I would wear with it, where I would wear it, etc. Overly-eager sales people who obviously must make quotas in order to claim their commission or to keep their jobs drive me crazy because they interrupt my happy musings. Not shy, I will ask for assistance if I need it. I don't need to be trailed by some hound dog who cannot keep her mouth shut. While in this store a week ago, I encountered just such an annoying sales woman. After she greeted me, I told her that I just wanted to browse. She did not honor that request. Instead, she made a nuisance of herself. I told her again that I just wanted to browse, and she ignored my request again. I told her straight out that I didn't want a "hard sell" approach, and she began to argue with me in her heavy NYC accent.At that, I left the store. My sister, with whom I was shopping, left, too---leaving behind an expensive coat that she was interested in buying. This woman's inability to listen to her customers and let them browse resulted in both a lost sale and this review.

I am a local an LOVE RG ... the store , the staff , the merchandise , the owner Rocki Gorman and her fabulous Mom are all top notch !They treat you like family and are always willing to help ... their knowledge of the merchandise is outstanding & They truly know their product!! If given a chance they will know you & your style!I truly can't say enough about this Amazing Gallery & the beautiful jewelry & clothing but mostly their beautiful Spirit & The Amazing Soul Of this place! Stop in ... you will not be disappointed

I have been going here for years and I am a local. Locals do go downtown unlike what a reviewer opined below. We go downtown all the time to shop, eat and be entertained on the plaza. I have always been treated well whether going in alone or with visitors to our fine city. Rocki is there often and has always been professional. The jewelry is exceptional and the clothes are unlike anything we can find around here. One of my favorite stores in SF.

I always like coming here with my mom , she always finds the most incredible and unique pieces of jewelry and clothing and looks adorable in them. . I read a couple reviews on this complaining of the staff but I must say Susan is amazing, Jis amazing and Rocki always welcomes us and makes my mother feel like a star Rocki thank you for that!

This is one of those where you wish there was a "0" stars rating. I was lied to by RG herself. I was told that the so-called-turquoise was "rare." No, it is not rare, and really doesn't even qualify as turquoise. It is basically the equivalent of chalk. Disgusting that someone can charge and get many hundreds of dollars for a pair of earrings but the artist knows and willinging dupes the customer. All for the love of money. After all, they are sold in a gallery store with the artist's name is on them, so the unsuspecting customer believes what they see and are told. And, the artist is represented in other retailers, who were likely told the stone was something other than turquoise. Shame, shame, shame on you. Of no character and truly a liar. I will never again be a consequence of your lies. Don't shop here!!!!
