Reuben...really very good! No grease! The bread stayed crispy the whole time...a must for a nice messy Reuben!

Pride abounds at this venue, from the service to the beer to the food to the music. I finally made it here with three pals. RCT doesn't look like anything I'd want to walk into alone. It's got zero curb appeal but then go ahead walk into the door and it's like walking into an utterly different environment. Service was prompt and cheerful. A few patrons at the bar at 5 pm on a Thursday and the single server was adept at her job. We were offered water and given menus. I promptly asked for a Blond ale and was told that they didn't carry it anymore (tsk tsk). I asked for an IPA and was told they were out of that (ugh) because they are in the process of revising their offerings. (It happens.) I settled on an IPA that the server recommended and loved it. Foodwise, the menu is not large (good) and it's mostly sandwiches, but they do them brilliantly. Kisses to the kitchen staff for making ordinary sandwiches something special. One lady in our party opted for a roast beef sandwich and she said it was so good and juicy. The other three of us opted for the Rueben sandwich and we loved them. We were offered either potato chips as a side or a homemade pasta salad. I can attest to the pasta salad as being quite good. All in all this somewhat looking hole in the wall establishment exceeded expectations. One note to the owners - consider investing in slightly larger tables. They work for a party of 2 or 3 but it gets tight with four when adding waters, beers, and food. We will surely keep RCT on our short list of preferred locations.

MeWhat a great wonderful new find just east of Albuquerque on Route 66. Located in carnuel New Mexico. This place used to be an old speakeasy! It is now a great tap room with lots of beers to choose from soft drinks & green chile chicken stew! They will have music on Friday nights. Watch for this place to grow!

Super disappointed and very bummed. I went once a couple months ago. Loved the Reuben, beer and cool atmosphere. I even became a member. BUT, since then, I have made several attempts to go again. Every time I do, they are closed. EVEN when I double check the hours and Yelp says they're open. I think I will ask for my membership $ back. that is IF they are ever open.

This is the East Mountains hideaway location. Leroy and his crew are doing great things, providing great entertainment and adapting to the crazy NM laws for liquor licenses. This is my often my stop on the way home or just a casual Saturday chill moment. Stop by, everyone is always so nice!

Well, what to my surprise exists in the rather desolate canyon pass area between Tijeras and Albuquerque... but this awesome taproom! Hubby and I accidentally spotted the "TAPROOM" sign today on the way home from brunch at the Roots Farm Cafe, and stopped here for a libation.Guests walk into a spacious taproom with natural stone decor, excellent artwork on the walls, and friendly staff. The brews are from Lizard Tail and there are Sandia ciders too. Service is great. We came for what we thought would be just a beer or two, and stayed for many more hours chatting with patrons & staff!

I love this place. The food is great, the beer and servers are great. The problem I have is a beer that cost $6.50 last week is now $8.00! When the average brewery beer was $5.00 I thought that was reasonable. I bit the bullet when the average cost went to 6 and 6.50, but $8.00! I know prices are going up, but when a business raises prices they recoup their costs, they lose nothing. I personally and financially can not understand such drastic increases. I'd like to stay a customer, but sadly....
