Robert's Lock & Key

I have to say I had a great experience with Roberts Lock and Key even though something pretty embarrassing happened. I was informed that someone had lost the keys to an apt unit that we needed to show to a prospective renter. So, I called two other people before I called this company and basically got no response or excuses. When I called Robert, he answered right away, was ready to help me and was very professional. He basically jumped in his car right away and headed straight to the location. He was met by someone else since I was at work. However, when they got there the keys were found at the last minute. So he came out for no reason because of someone's negligence. Prior to that the price that I was quoted to change 4 locks was very reasonable to me. Even though no locks were changed, I was very appreciative of the effort put forth and would absolutely consider this company for the next time we have a lock or key emergency. If you're locked out or lost your keys, etc. need immediate assistance call Robert!

Great job cutting and programming a key for me when the Ford dealership said they couldn't. Came out and was done in 15 minutes.

Came on a weekend and fixed our lock very quickly am very pleased the services.

Uncle Tye was AMAZING. He came out 3 times to diagnose why my replacement key fob and the new chipped key he provided wouldn't program, replaced the nearly impossibly placed fused that was causing the problem, and gave me the new chipped key, my replacement, and a dummy key he cut that he thought would work during an earlier attempt. While shopping around, a locksmith named Scott was one of the people I called but wasn't available at the time. Scott called me the next day to solicit my business. I told Scott that I had already selected a locksmith. He asked me who I decided to go with. I refused, but told him the locksmith I selected was much cheaper and was able to come the same day. He continued to push and ask (saying I might as well tell him so he knows who his competition is) and I continued to refuse. He then went on to say that he had an idea of the locksmith I chose (I don't remember the locksmiths name he stated). Eventually he said that he had an idea which locksmith I went with and that I should be careful because "he's struggling and needs the money anyway". I then went on to say that the phone call was over and I hung up. So I decided to pay my locksmith Scott fee plus a little bit more.

Great and efficient after hours service. He cut me a great deal after I lost my only keys to my work truck by giving me 2 sets of keys with remote fobs & a spare for my door. It was a Sunday night after 8:00 pm. Fast & prompt but most importantly he's honest & fair. Highly recommend!

This guy doesn't try to gouge you for simple services like locking yourself out of your car. Try it - call other locksmiths in Albuquerque and you'll end up paying at least 100 dollars. Inflating a bag and opening a handle with a hook takes 2 minutes. This guy was fast and he even waited through 30 minutes worth of traffic to help me out this morning. Use this business if you want good service, quality, and VALUE for your locksmithing needs! Thank you, Robert!

Extremely inefficient, seemed burnt out and non-urgent responsive. prices are ridiculous

Very unprofessional, this guy's obviously burnt out. Doesn't respond quick enough. Didn't seem to want to help while on the call and was very distracted. Very unsatisfied with even just attempting to do business.

Robert came to my house within an hour to fix 2 difficult to turn locks, did the needed work at a very reasonable price. Couldn't be happier and will use him again, if needed.

Came within 15 min to fix frozen deadbolt, worked diligently and throughly. Then explained the solution to the problem. Charged less than the old established company who had spent 10 minutes for the same problem 8 months ago.
