My mom recently has needed some in home care to help with basic necessities. Roadrunner has been incredible. Their staff is so kind and patient. They explain everything clearly, their paperwork isn't overwhelming and they go above and beyond to really exemplify the word 'care'. I live in a different state than my mom and it's been such a comfort to know she has not only family to help her but a service like Roadrunner. They have a variety of care options and really look to work with your needs. I have nothing but good things to say.

My wife was under Bosque Trails in-home hospice care for almost two weeks in March 2024. Her nurse made regular visits twice a week to check on her condition and to adjust her medications. She kept us well informed of what we could expect and greatly assisted in ensuring that my wife was comfortable and free of pain. A couple days before she passed, my wife fell and although she didn't break any bones, she suffered some bruises and minor scrapes. The nurse suggested we get a hospital bed, which she ordered, and which was delivered later that day. The bed helped ease the pain from her bruises and help prevent bed sores from developing. The bed kept her comfortable for two days before she passed, quietly and peacefully. I can't thank Bosque Trails enough for all their help during this difficult time.

Everything went well with this agency. Near the end of my husband's journey with Lewy Body Dementia, I felt an urgent need to get extra help. I had experienced home caregivers, but I needed the expertise of a hospice team and the reassurance of having a team I could consult 24/7. I read good things about this agency and my experience and my deceased husband's was excellent as well with Roadrunner hospice. Everyone from the assessment nurse, the bath aides, the hospice doctors and chaplains, the social worker and the grief counselor have been nothing but kind and compassionate. They listened when I reported that Haldol caused an adverse and sometimes lethal reaction(neuroleptic malignant syndrome) in people diagnosed with Lewy body dementia and that I did not want an abrupt stoppage of his statin that could contribute to a stroke or heart attack. I was listened to and heard. This is more than I can say for some (not all) of the non-hospice physicians. I loved how my husband was always treated respectfully and the recommendations to help my husband in his last few days. The hospice team also helped me get the paperwork in for the VA aid and attendance. I was happy I made the decision to help my husband enroll in hospice. His passing was peaceful. I do not believe he ever had pain, and he was able to stay in his own home with me and his cat by his side. That is what he wanted. Roadrunner hospice contributed to peaceful ending.

I used Roadrunner for my husband last few months. They were fine until his last week when he started falling. They had given me all the meds needed, but by the time I needed to give them I was exhausted. They told me to call them when needed, and not to call 911. They gave me a paper sign, for the refrigerator with that on it.When Then I woke up one morning and found him on the floor. I called for help in getting him off the floor. They told me to call 911. I asked them what to do to keep him in bed, at night. They told me to add a pill. The next morning I found him on the floor. They said add a pill. the next morning, same. Add a liquid med. They had given me 2 liquid meds. They told me to add one. I added the other on my own the next morning. After a little over a week of his falling and injuring himself, and me calling 911 we finally had a meeting. That's when they decided to tell me that I should have been dosing every 4 hours, and perhaps they should get him a fall mat. Then they filed a complaint against me with adult protective services for neglect, because they couldn't tell me how to keep him in bed. They wanted to cover their incompetence. Then when they called to see if I had questions or wanted grief counseling, I asked them why they had made a complaint against me. I never heard back form them. Yelp doesn't have a lower button then one star. Don't use Roadrunner hospice.
