This company was incredible. This review is long overdue but I wanted to be sure to share. We are new to the Placitas area so I'm not really aware of all the different types of bugs out here in the desert. This past summer we had a bunch of sugar ants in the bathrooms and bedrooms. I was trying to combat them myself using an eco-green type solution. But it wasn't working. Then one night a huge centipede about 7-8" long slithered across my floor. We caught it and threw it out, but I was up all night freaking out. At 6am I started calling all the companies from Albuquerque to Bernalillo to Rio Rancho. Rio Rancho Pest Solutions called me back right away. The woman that called me was so helpful with educating me on bug habits and habitat. She suggested sending out the owner of the company right away. Apparently he has a degree in Entomology (Insects) so that's very cool. She gave me a new client discount and quoted me a price that was more than fair! They were super thorough and I felt very safe with them. They do offer a subscription service but she wasn't pushy about it. And after the treatment, all of our problems are gone. The voice on the other end of the line was a sweet lady who seemed to understand exactly how upset I was to find our new home infested with roaches. YUCK. They were pretty busy, but they got out to my house within 3 days. The service provider was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. He offers tips and tricks to help me prevent any further pest infestation. He sprayed the entire inside of the house, and then around the outside well, and across every threshold. We stop seeing roaches within 3 days. And now that it's been nearly 2 months I feel comfortable leaving a review. One spray and done, got to love it. I'll be calling them in the spring for a maintenance spray.

Professional, dependable, trustworthy & extremely knowledgeable about local pest in our area! We have had a monthly service for almost 4 years for our home and we are very satisfied with their level of serve and attention to details. The owners are respectful of their clients' time and satisfaction. Highly recommended!!!

The service is good, but Dennis, the owner, has poor boundaries. He comments freely about your decor, your housekeeping, and anything he sees in your house. He thinks he's being friendly. I think he's being nosey and unprofessional. When I tried to set boundaries with him, he told me he wouldn't be returning. Be sure to set boundaries from the start.

Rio Rancho Pest Solutions is the best. They are family owned and operated. We've been using them for 10 years and have no pest issues. We have quarterly sprays done. Dennis and Joan are the best!

Nice folks, but not very proactive. Failed to mention an area vulnerable to mice on an HVAC vent. I understand why they don't want to touch the unit, but the owner could have nevertheless let me know. Last December, after another roof inspection, he failed to mention numerous distressed areas on our roof where mice could enter the ceiling. A roofer took several photos but the pest control owners questioned whether they were of my roof, even though the photos had surrounding landscape and adjacent homes in the background, not to mention vent cover work the pest control company had previously completed. Why would I make this up? The photos were of our roof! I give them credit for wanting to meet the roofers at the house before any roof repair was done. While larger holes couldn't wait to be fixed due to approaching storms, there were plenty of smaller areas they could have seen in the following few days before the roofers finished. But after sending texts/emails, no response and I haven't heard from the company since. Incidentally the roofers did a great job and were thorough and professional and we've had no mice issues since. I write this review because overlooking trouble spots can lead to serious home safety issues. There have been home fires in our zip code due to mice chewing on indoor electrical wires. Don't let it be your home!

I manage an office building and hired Rio Rancho Pest Solutions a few years ago. Dennis & Joan are excellent to work with and consistently take care of my building and tenants. Joan is friendly and professional allowing me to schedule my monthly service months in advance. Every month Dennis inspects my building inside and out proactively and is happy to talk directly to tenants answering any questions they have. . I highly recommend Rio Rancho Pest Solutions.

Although very knowledgeable, they lack professionalism. They have the role of customer and provider backwards. Scheduling seems to be a struggle and Dennis arrogant and argumentative attitude is such a bad quality. Would never recommend, there are several other service providers out there with the same if not better quality.
