I got my credit cards STOLEN from the exam room while I took a urine test. They didn't care to do anything when I let them know. Also they keep sending the wrong scripts or forget to send them to my pharmacy.

I highly suggest that any patient seen here that has had a telehealth or video visit call their insurance immediately and make sure they were billed as those type of visits. In my experience they were billed as a normal office visits to the insurance so they get more money. And the patients pay higher copays. I know for fact for the last 6 months this has been going on, but I wouldn't be surprised if all through Covid shut down when these type of visits start, they weren't billing them the same way. Do not approach the staff first. Go to your insurance with the dates of your visits. Once the staff figured out what I was doing they refused me information.

I came here for a work/employment screening medical examination. The location wasn't yet in Yelp but they have a sister location nearby. Staff from start to finish was exceptionally professional! I was in and out in record time. There are two buildings at the address, suite D where my examination took place is on the lower end/south side. Jessica was an amazing phlebotomist. The upfront personnel were efficient and courteous. It seems like everyone who came in left with a smile. Thank you Rio grande family medicine!

Just keep searching. Don't go here. The office manager refused to give me a much-needed appointment with my new primary. Instead, after an argument, she gave me an appointment with Amy Tafoya, who has been given all one-star reviews on every doctor review site. I tried to cancel the Amy appointment, but normally when I call, they answer and put me on a forever hold. I can't get through to cancel! I sent a text and I called them again and left a cancel message. They finally responded with a demand for $100.00. Thanks, Dawn, I really needed the chuckle.

I went to Rio Grande Family Medicine and was assigned Amy Tafoya PA. During my initial visit I was not informed of their "practices and policies " and in a subsequent appointment I questioned the procedures and I was frustrated that I was not informed in my initial visit with her. Amy was unprofessional, arrogant and short tempered. Also, after my initial visit with Amy Tafoya, she never contacted me regarding my lab results and I had to call myself and ask for the results. She had someone else call and they were very uninformed and could not answer my questions.I have seen another practitioner there who is extremely knowlegable and has a wonderful demanor and approach. So, just do not see Amy Tafoya if you are considering Rio Grande Family Medicine, she lacks compassion and is very cold in her approach and you will not be well cared for.

I am supposedly a patient here but to get a hold of someone to talk to is like pulling teeth. Are they afraid of answering their phones?!??? I need a refill and I have done what they say to do. I think you should think twice before seeing Amy Lazoya. She is not a good provider and I'm calling my insurance and reporting her.

I love this place. There have been a few hiccups with scheduling but the providers are awesome. I personally know the owner of this clinic and she is a wonderful human being who prioritizes comfort and health of her patients. I have a chronic illness and have been sick since 2011. I've seen a million doctors over the years and Jordan Pelock is among a few select excellent providers.

I'm a terminally ill patient. I have several specialists plus primary caregiver. I also have 2 health insurances. And on occasion my portion of a bill gets temp. lost along the way. Usually I'll get a bill in the mail, and it gets sorted. Not so with Rio Grande Medical. Instead, I get a call from office manager. I'm not even sure how to express how awful this woman spoke to me. Hateful & rude. I'm shocked a supposed medical professional would speak to a patient in this manner. Save yourself the aggravation, and avoid Rio Grande Medical.

I've been trying to get a refill from my doctor for over a month, and I still haven't been able to. It's an immune system therapy that I have to do regularly every year, but there's no way I can talk to anyone in the office. I left many voice messages, and I was lucky enough to talk to a person at some point, they said that when the refill would have been ready, they would have called back. Obviously, it never happened. My pharmacy tried to contact them as well, but they couldn't because apparently the Rio Grande Family Medicine fax number does not work. Very disorganized and unreliable.
