Rick's Auto Repair

In from out of town and had a bad noise coming from my truck. Took it to Ricks Auto Repair dropped it off Friday morning ate 9:30 and had it back by 5:00 after having to have both front wheel bearings replaced. So nice to find a small repair shop that doesn't try to gouge you.

I'm so happy I found this place. They figured out a problem other places couldn't. They were respectful and communicated clearly. Service was professional. Prices were reasonable. This will defiantly be my go-to car place.

Great work and honesty are two things that are difficult to come by in auto repair places, but Rick and Ricardo are both those things and more. I would trust very few others with my car.

The first time we brought our Hyundai Accent in -- we were hearing a rattling noise -- they diagnosed the problem (cosmetic), recommended we let it be, and refused to charge us for their time.I trust a mechanic who recommends against performing unnecessary work! We've been back. They do good work, faster and for less money than anywhere else I've lived. I'm not used to reverse sticker shock when it comes to cars! Highly recommended.

My parentals have been taking their cars to Rick since the seventies, I took my cars to him, and now my kids are taking theirs to him. If that doesn't tell you enough about what we think of Rick, well, let me just say that he is the most trustworthy mechanic I know, and has always done fabulous work. This is not a fancy place with a lot of overhead in the form of a frappe machine and leather office chairs for waiting...but it is affordable and honest.

I took my Honda Accord to Rick to have him replace the head gasket. It took him over two years to get around to it, and when he finally did get to it he accidentally ruined the head (machined it too thin), which ultimately ruined the engine. Rather than admit it to me he lied to me outright about it, several times. I was pretty disappointed, because he seems like the nicest guy in the world. Too bad he's dishonest.

I took my car here after Rick's was recommended to me by a family friend. They kept car for a week, charged me $700.00 for work done to vehicle, and car never ran again. I had to call a scrapyard to sell car to them for $165.00. If I had known that car was destined for the scrap yard, I would NEVER have spent that $700.00 on it. Really upset and sad about the entire encounter. Will not be back.

My father referred this place to me because he had a good experience there and felt like the gentleman working there were trustworthy. I ended up needing to get two axles replaced after they talked me out of a more expensive fix that wouldn't have helped me. I really appreciated them not trying to get a few bucks out of me, but helping me get the problem fixed at the lowest cost. Both the father and son that were working there were very sweet men to talk to and didn't rush our conversation. I would highly recommend this place although it was a little hard to get to the front door because there were so many cars parked so closely together. This outfit is now my main mechanic moving forward, but I hope I don't need to use them that much :-)

Just got my Catalytic converter and Serpentine belt changed out yesterday. Same day fix, just called in before dropping it off. Rates are very reasonable

Rick and his son Ricardo are awesome mechanics. We've been taking our cars there for about 4-5 years now, never had a problem. Trustworthy, respectful guys who do great work and won't try to saddle you with unnecessary repairs.
