Rent Builder property management? Did Realty Pro change its name because of a bad reputation? When looking for a property manager, my wife emailed REALTY PRO and told them what we were looking for and what we expected of the managers. Jim Meek, owner of "both" companies responded that they could not/would not do business with us. Apparently it's too much to ask a management company to actually do something besides collect the rent and charge a fee for it! Glad I noticed that this is the same company.

My mother is at a place in her life where downsizing and moving to the city is in her best interests. She had not rented an apartment since the late 1960s. I searched the local market using many different sites and search engines. Rentbuilder had more realistic options and matches. When mom decided on a place I held my breath and called Rentbuilder. Rite from the start Shannon was patient, accommodating, and above all else professional. When it came to the actual signing of the lease the process was super streamlined and easy. The property was as advertised and was in top condition thanks to Glen. All rental companies are very accommodating and responsive before the lease is signed. Where the real stars show themselves is after all the paperwork is done and you're in the new place. We looked at the property before hand and noticed a grade on the parking lot. Mom has limited mobility but felt like it would not be a problem. After about a week after she moved in it was apparent that the grade was too much for her. I called Shannon on Friday with our concerns and expected an answer in a few weeks. To my surprise on Monday afternoon Shannon had arranged for a safe spot in the parking lot to be striped and signed for handicapped parking. This is a 4 plex with 4 parking spaces. I have rented many an apartment in my day and have never experienced such responsibility and caring by a management company. Thank you Shannon, Glen and Rentbuilder for being such a stand up operation. You all Rock!

I've been with Rent Builder for a little more than 6 months now and I have been so pleased with their service. They are professionals in every sense. They're prompt with their responses, their accounting is clear and consistent, and they are very communicative. I especially would like to give an extra star for the maintenance lead, Glen, who has been a godsend in dealing with my tenant. While the tenant they chose, is a great tenant on paper, his demands are why I can't be an active landlord and Glen has done a superb job of placating his many requests. Landlording is usually not a really passive job, however, I can say, thanks to Jim, Glen and the whole Rent Builder team, it has been a passive investment for me.

You won't find a better property management company in the ABQ metro including the east mountains. My wife and I have nothing but great things to say about not only finding a house with Realty Pro/Rent Builder but renting from them as well.

In a city and state that operates on the Land of Manana standard, Realty Pro is a welcome return to prompt professionalism. When we call someone answers the phone. When they say something is going to happen at a certain time it actually happens. I'm a renter, and my experience has been great. I'm moving to a new city for work, but if I return to Albuquerque Realty Pro will be my first call. I also own a home in another city, and as an owner I would definitely have Realty Pro as my manager if they had an office there.

I am writing this review to help others who are looking for a trustworthy, honest business to work with. The reason I chose Rent Builder was actually because of a review I had read several years ago. Believe me when I tell you that Jim Meek (owner) and his staff are professional and are invested in providing you with great service, whether you are a tenant or property owner! There is not another company I would trust my property with, period. Due to my previous experiences with tenants taking advantage and destroying my property under poor property management, and because this truly is the Land of Manana, living out-of-town had become a real nightmare and I was genuinely concerned about my home until I found Rent Builder via Google. Jim Meek and his staff immediately put me at ease with their knowledge, professionalism, reach-ability, and understanding. I have also been in several rental contracts myself over the years. I can honestly say that if I were looking for a home to rent I wouldn't want to rent from any other company either! These people care about you first!
