Rendezvous Diner

We stopped in for a late lunch earlier today. We were able to be sat right away although it did take a bit to be waited on but they were happy with the food. We opted to try the fish and chips, bacon cheeseburger, and hot pastrami. All were served with fries and the meals were all tasty. We also opted to try some deserts. We tried strawberry rhubarb pie, peach cobbler with ice cream and pumpkin pie ice cream bar. All of the deserts were amazing. We would totally come back if in Greer again and highly recommend stopping.

Great food, great service! A little over priced but I'd still go back! The fried green beans and fried pickles are awesome!!!!

Came to Greer, AZ for the first time for Fall Break vacation. we really enjoyed our stay in Greer. We hiked, kayaked, fished. Played board games in our cabin with friends who also vacationed with us. They introduced us to Greer and Rendezvous Diner. We finished off our trip by having brunch on the way out of town.The portions are big. The pancakes are HUGE!! Full plate size! Our table ordered pancake, French toast, coutnry fried steak, biscuits and gravy, and breakfast burrito.The highlight was the country fried steak.Friendly service. We lucked out and we're one of the first parties in the restaurant and by the time we were finishing our meal, there was a long wait outside.

Pretty pathetic to say the least. This food was so bad. The fish and fried green beans were cold like it had been sitting waiting for the next customer. The crust on the pie looked like it wasn't baked long enough if at all, and looked like it does on the photo when I received it, already eaten, ugh! They add an automatic 15% gratuity to the bill and I can understand why because with this type of food, and unwelcoming attitude, I'm pretty sure they struggle for tips. The place is pretty cute inside but that's it. Sign says wait below the stairs, no response when I said hello to one of the staff, and the really bland, cold, and unappealing food was a big nooooo!!!! No more "Rendezvous" for us.

Stopped in for lunch after dropping off beer to Lost Resorts.. hubs had a double burger which he loved and I had the southwest salad.. probably some of the best chicken I've had on a salad in a LONG time.. the white trash mocha was delicious too.. I think the owner served us and she was lovely.. the atmosphere is laid back small town charm with the cutest stained glass windows.. this place was spotless by the way.. so you know the kitchen is held to the same standard. We will most definitely be back

Red flags beware. Business owner here's your chance to make improvements. Plenty of Open tables-Told to wait below stairs in hot summer sun. Asked for coffee 3 times. No coffee then charged for coffee. Waited 15 minutes for water and got no water. Our food came no water no coffee. Ordered Swiss and mushroom omelet- what I got was cheddar mushroom. Wasted time and wasted money. Small towns want business please get your act together - train your people. Waitress avoided coming outside and we had to seek out waitress, food -red sauce forgotten in husbands burrito. Rye bread tasted like dish soap. Small town step up and DO BETTER. We love to bless people -(AKA we Tip Well) this restaurant made it very difficult. Lol known for dessert was out

This is the most precious gem in Greer, as you can see by the amount of diners on any given day. The food is better than homemade and at a reasonable price. The service is very friendly and efficient, but on weekends they get very busy. Tip: if you want to order from their breakfast menu, get there by 10:30 as they stop taking breakfast orders 11 sharp. (And don't miss the Cinnamon bun! Lunch served until closing at 3PM. Wes is a great server. If dining on the patio be sure to go inside to see all the collectibles.

One of our Greer favorites for sure! breakfast is a must at this charming roadside cafe. Loved the hummingbirds and flowers. Service is great and so many breakfast choices! They are also open for lunch.

Had another great Breakfast at the Rendezvous this morning. The diner is owned by a great couple Rachael and David who bought the restaurant and have not only kept the charm and ambience the same as it has been for many years as well as improving the quality of the food they so proudly serve. Iff you are traveling in the White Mountains anywhere near Greer stop here for breakfast or lunch, enjoy a a great Mimosa or a glass of wine with your friends while enjoying the beautiful views scrumptious meal while also soaking in the atmosphere. The restaurant is a charming gem .Beth the waitress is a great conversationalist and a good waitress

Great food and staff! The apple pie was amazing!!! Would go there again even if it wasn't on the way to Greer!
