Before COVID:My first experience with Red Rock Roasters was at a Coffee Expo a few years ago where they were giving a presentation on coffee, different ways of roasting, origins of the coffee, cascara, flavorings, etc. They had so much information about coffee it was great! And the staff member at the presentation was friendly and nice, too.In the next couple of years, I found the same staff member at a Coffee and Chocolate Fest, and thanked her for the presentation. She told me more about their coffee blends, some of which I also sampled and enjoyed.Fast forward a little bit, and I also bought a few bags in the past couple years. One blend I distinctly remember is their Roadrunner Blend, which was naturally sweet and less harsh than many coffees can be (I usually drink coffee black by the way). I also tried their Organic/Fair Trade Peru Swiss Water Decaf, which tasted so good that I really doubt anyone who loves coffee would know it was decaf. After COVID: I've been buying more coffee than usual since COVID took hold (no surprises there I'm sure!). I ordered a few bags from Red Rock Roasters and had a great experience. Their coffee shipped fast, and in minimal packaging. The coffees themselves all taste so unique from different regions of the world. One thing I really like about this company is how transparent they are regarding their products. On some of the coffees, they even have interviews they did with the coffee growers they purchase their coffee from, and their other coffees have plenty of information as well. It's nice that they work so hard to make coffee not just a morning drink, but a way that we can connect with the world as well.I am definitely a fan of this company, and I tell my family and friends about them regularly.

Red Rock Roasters is not a coffee shop, they are the oldest NM roastery: 26 years in business! You can sample coffee, buy coffee & Red Rock Roasters branded products. Most of the coffees are single origin, but they shared the best selling one is their blend. They are not pushy with their products at all. It feels like their value lies in perfecting their craft & education instead of marketing. There is a well-lit area to sit and free-WiFi is available too. They also use this space for trainings and meetings. I came on a Monday morning while coffee is being roasted in a room separated by clear acrylic or glass: you can see what's going on while the production area stays clean. I'd consider returning to buy coffee when we run low on beans at home!

If he's not going to review Red Rock Roasters, I will.We recently visited Manhattan, to see family, and during our first excursion to Central Park my mother said something along the lines of "Oh, that coffee you gave Walt, for his birthday? He LOVES it -- we're almost out! He has a pot every morning." Thank you, Red Rock Roasters, for solving the annual question of What do you get the guy who has everything. We all have that relative. I was charmed by my first visit to their shop, it's a simple operation that clearly emphasizes quality of product over aesthetic or pretense, customer service is legit, this isn't a cafe but they'll deliver what you're looking for. Great local business.

I tried that coffee from El Salvador farm "Nombre de Dios" I honestly didn't like it , and the price is way too high. Probably they do not have good growing praxis in that farm, the owner I heard doesn't have good reputation I rather buy other coffee

Stop thinking about it and just buy some already!!I found Red Rock brand several years ago while grabbing a coffee and bagel from a local bagel shop. Their 'Black Magic' roast is so unbelievably out of this world, I've been hooked ever since. You can drop in to pick up a pound of their delicious coffee, or order online in larger quantities. The staff is friendly, knowledgable and always willing to show you around the tasting room. To sum it up: Great local company, Wonderful fresh roasted aromas, Best damn coffee around! : )

Wow, 10/10 coffee and people. The Colombia Huila they currently have is OUTSTANDING. I'm normally one to grab a bag of Roadrunner Blend at Albertsons, but making a stop at the roaster is worth it for this. I totally tasted the suggested strawberry note! Also, no shade to NM piñon coffee but Red Rock's piñon is way better. Tastes cleaner and more like piñon. We are so lucky to live here where they roast! You can order off their website too.
