After waiting months for Ray's Flooring Specialists to get back to me about an insurance claim for replacing my carpets, I've decided to go elsewhere. My rental house flooded in April, insurance got back to me right away with a check to replace the carpet. I've called and called Ray's Flooring whom my insurance company chose for me to replace the carpet and provide the estimate. It's been crickets. I've tried scheduling a replacement, calling the person who came and did the estimate, and just have gotten nowhere with the company. I'm going to see if another company in town will take the quote Ray's provided my insurance and match it. My poor tenant has had damaged carpets from a water heater leak since April and this company is making me look like a slum lord instead of a responsible landlord who sought to replace the carpets in the same week the damages happened. I wouldn't recommend this company and have sent a complaint to my insurance company as well.

Wonderful experience from start to finish. Will was very helpful and made the process easy. Punctual, accurate and professional. Margarito and Jose the installers were equally professional, efficient and did a great job. Highly recommend this locally owned business.

These guys are great. My salesman Will was very professional and did what he said he would. Luckily rays did my house floors when it was built so when I bought the house from original buyer rays already had the room dimensions and was able to get me a price on materials and labor quickly. Would definitely recommend

My experience with Ray's Flooring has been up and down. While I appreciate that they accommodated my flooring job's time frame, there have been far more negative aspects of the transaction. Mainly, I felt as though my salesman was increasingly hard to get access to and got the feeling I was annoying him whenever I had information to discuss on our project.Unfortunately, I can not honestly say that I would ever use this company again unless major procedural modifications were made.

Although I prepaid in full, they no called no showed twice. This includes me diligently reminding the sales man multiple times who acted like I was bugging him and wouldn't get back to me. Good product, zero communication. I doubt they would of ever finished if I didn't bug them every day.

They no showed on the date they were supposed to start and I couldn't get a hold of my salesman...I never did get a hold of him after 3 days. I finally got a hold of someone at the store. They started yesterday. Still no communication and our house is a mess from them working on it. Workers showed in an unmarked car with blacked out windows. They had no ID. Hopefully it gets better and the job gets done. Will never use them again.

If I could leave no stars I would. Husband and I went to see Victoria on recommendation from a neighbor. She showed us around and we picked a couple of carpetsShe said she'd send us samples. 2 phone calls later we finally got the samples. We scheduled the measuring, she was a no show, no call. I called and she apologized and rescheduled for first thing next business day- another no show, no call. We've decided to take our business elsewhere.

You pay in full in advance for a reason. Our salesman, Will, short ordered our flooring by 340 sq ft. Then he made up lies. Installation started then our home left in shambles for 28 days. 9 areas of home left unfinished and 1 bathroom unusable during that time. Our furniture and other stuff was scattered everywhere. Total time to complete flooring installation 28 days. Total time to finish job with transitions 77 days. Will told us it would all take 4 days. Managers comment was "that's the way construction goes". No inconvenience refund offered or even an apology. I like the vinyl flooring product, but get it somewhere else. Ray's doesn't keep flooring in their warehouse. They order it from the supplier after bid is accepted. So everything they order takes 15+ days to arrive.

If you are on any sort of time crunch or just care in general about a company that follows through with their work, I'd steer clear of Rays Flooring. I received bids from a few different companies but went with Rays because the salesman, Will, sold us on the fact that everything would be done in 3-4 days. I have an infant at home so getting someone in and out quickly was important to me. The initial flooring was done in 2 days (great!), but the flooring for the stairs wasn't done for another 2 weeks and the trim didn't arrive until even after that. They had to come to my house multiple times outside the originally quoted 3-4 days to get the job done (which was exactly what I was trying to avoid from the get go). Half the battle was getting anyone on the phone or receiving a call back. When we could finally get ahold of someone, there were frequent excuses. Anyone you talk to throws blame at the others in the company for the shortfalls that occurred. Seems to be major drama within the company and it spills over to their customer service. The one star is for the installers themselves who did a great job, but next time I'd rather hire them directly and leave the drama out.

Tile laying is good, but they use cheap grout and it cracks. They tell you grout cracks...no, only theirs.
