The rail yard market holiday markets are absolutely my favorite. I most recently came for the Valentines market and had a ton of fun and found some really great local goods. The Valentines market in particular is my favorite. Everything is pink and hearts and glitter. There were a ton of vendors and a good variety of food offerings. My best friends were some chocolate covered strawberries at baked by Christina and a gorgeous heart necklace from meltdown Studios.I will say, I heard from others that the Sunday offerings were much slimmer. I'm really glad we came Saturday at opening.

10/10! It's a must go! I dont know the history and I do not live in Albuquerque but I was in town for the weekend and this was by far the best thing I have enjoyed in Albuquerque through my many many visits. Honestly bummed it took me this long to find it! I was running around like a kid in a candy shop, sampling everything, looking a cute dogs, buying yummy local fruit and taking pictures of the beautiful old building! Huge selection of local veggies, fruits, foods, crafts, and art. This is one of my favorite out door markets I have been at in the USA. I loved the variety of things this market had to offer. I had some momos, got some fresh baked bread 1/2 off for coming towards the later side of the day, got a bubble tea with oatmilk and stocked up on seasonal veggies and fruits! Come hungry, have fun and talk to people about their passions and craft- always inspiring! This market exceeded my expectations was much bigger than I expected and felt special

This a great place to spend the day, lots of local vendors, local food and local crafts. Many movies have been filmed here and there's a venue you can rent for parties or weddings.

I'm a junkie for farmer's markets. I seek them out whenever I travel to sample local produce and locally crafted items. Love that there is lots of free parking. Most of the vendors are in the old rail yard buildings. The assorted food vendors are generally in the courtyard. On this visit, I purchased an Indian bread from Lizard Flatts which was large and still warm. Absolutely delicious! We enjoyed it for lunch with a cup of soup and later toasted for dinner. Get this! I picked up a couple of melons, a local type of spinach which looked like kale. We sautéed it with some garlic and simple seasonings to enjoy with our salmon for dinner. I was told it had a somewhat lemony taste and it did! I also bought some green tomatoes to air fry, locally grown apples and prickly pear to try. Other produce available were radishes, carrots, heirloom tomatoes okra and beans. I also saw bitter melon! There were a couple of vendors selling mushroom growing kits. Very intrigued with growing mushrooms in a bag and would totally buy a kit if I were home in Hawaii! This farmer's market is only on Sundays so plan accordingly. Best to come early before the (food) vendors sell out!

What a great holiday market! We took the park and ride from the zoo, which I highly recommend as parking at the Railyards is pretty tight. There were at least 100 vendors with a terrific variety of wares for sale - art, jewelry, baked goods, spice blends, honey, candles, etc. - and a bunch of food trucks. We had a good time and came home with some treasures. I'm looking forward to returning next year.

This market is THE thing to do on a Sunday. It's not year round but goes from May to October and apparently one weekend in December for holiday shopping. It was my first time here and there were so many more vendors than I expected! This is not a small market. The old Rail Yards building is stunning. It's so cool to put an indoor/outdoor market here. For some reason the Sunday I went there were a ton of Storm Troopers just wandering about lol. Make sure to get a drink from the Chamoy Bar ladies. Buy roasted chilis from the chili guy. And be sure to leave yourself time to scope out all the vendors and get your shopping on. We saw some very fun art and ended up taking a few things home with us. Just a wonderful way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

Went here last Saturday. They've improved the place with a paved parking lot and two indoor areas instead of one. It's cute but really overpriced and needs further improvements. We got 3 fruit drinks (each about 32 ounces) that came to a total of $45! For a fruit drink that was mainly water and sugar it was extremely expensive. There was very limited shaded areas which made it hard to enjoy the place in the heat.Overall I wouldn't recommend this place and likely won't be back myself. It's hard to enjoy a simple meal or drink feeling like you just got robbed.
