Radiology Associates of Albuquerque

Contrary to others, I had a very good experience at RAA. I opted for a 6am appointment so there was not wait for the MRI I needed. I was greeted by a friendly person at the registration desk and, in short order, was escorted to a changing room by the radiology tech. He explained everything clearly and answered my questions with expertise. The experience itself was a bit unpleasant (those MRI machines are LOUD) but otherwise all was great. I was in and out in an hour. The radiologist's report was sent to my health care provider a week later.

I called today to set up an appointment and had the unpleasant experience of talking with Tania Anderson. From the moment she answered she was rude and talking down to me, she tried to make me feel incompetent and as though I had no idea what I was talking about. This is obviously a stressful situation for me and I left this conversation in tears because of her. I have been to other radiologists before and have never been treated this way. If I didn't have to go here or call this place ever again I wouldn't.

They called and told me they wanted to schedule an ultrasound. I made the appointment and when I got there it wasn't an ultrasound. They lied to me. It was brutal, very painful! When I told the technician I was in pain she just didn't care. I left with bruises. I will NOT return!

If you are looking for a technician who has been vaccinated against Covid, they will not guarantee that you will get one.
