Quarter Celtic Brewpub

OMG!!!!!! I'm in Irish Heaven!!!! The best food and service I've had in weeks! My first time here and it was wonderful. I came about 1:45 on a Friday afternoon and got seated immediately. A nice crowd of ppl and they looked like regulars. My server, Ian, made some great suggestions and he was spot on. I got the White Wine Salmon plate Special, German Red Lager, and Bourbon Pecan Pie. I was very surprised when Chef Nick came out to see how I liked the Salmon Special!! I let him know it was my first time here and his Salmon plate was incredible. Fresh carrots and mash (potatoes) were great. Great food Nick and Great service Ian! Great atmosphere! I'm just sorry I hadn't been here before BUT now I know I'll be back!!!! The menu looks great so more food to try.

We finally made it to this restaurant. Eric ordered a shepherd's pie. I ordered a single fish and chips.Eric said that the shepherd's pie was seasoned well but was a bit cool. I think it may have sat out before the server brought it to the table.The fish and chips had a really nice light and crispy batter.The?Fries were a bit salty, But.Tasted okay overall.The restaurant was busy and a little loud.That mostly had to do with the amount of people in there.Christian , our server was good and checked on us a few times throughout our meal.We just had water to drink.Our bill was $39.22 ( Including a twenty percent tip)

Fantastic Irish pub! The atmosphere, the decor, the layout, the in house made brews. It was a pleasant surprise and a great experience over all. We had to try the fish and chips as we had heard that they were top notch! After reading others reviews, we decided to give it a try. Well guess what? All the hype is true! The fish was crispy, flaky and bursting with flavor, it was everything my mind would imagine a genuine Irish pubs food would be. The fries were also very crispy and extremely tasty! Also the staff was friendly and helpful, overall fantastic food and reasonable prices. We will undoubtedly be back again!

This was our first time at Quarter Celtic on San Mateo. It was a wonderful experience. Of course we had to have the fish and chips and beers. Everything was stellar!! We ordered, and in no time or food came out piping hot and was absolutely delicious! Highly recommend the fish and chips and will definitely be back!

I really enjoyed Quarter Celtic, I first tasted their mead at the NM renaissance faire, and knew I wanted to go try their beer and food as well. It did not disappoint! Located in a great space inside the plaza behind Ace hardware, the service was quick, and it made for a great place to relax and have a few beers. We had the shepherds pie and bangers and mash, and pecan pie. Everything was excellent. The raspberry pastry stout and the kill or be kilt were our favorite beers.

After meaning to try this place for a while I finally checked them out! I enjoy a lot of "pub grub" so I really liked the "Celtic Trio" option where you can have choose three different classic Irish pub type offerings to combine in a single plate. If I was really hungry I might have been able to tackle it on my own but it's also a great size for sharing! I went with the fish and chips, bangers and mash, and the scotch egg. When we didn't have to request malt vinegar I suspected it was going to be a worthwhile meal! I thought all three of the items were tasty. The scotch egg was battered rather than breaded, which was a first for me and I definitely enjoyed it. The bangers and mash are probably my favorite of the ones I have tried so far in Albuquerque, my friend and I both really enjoyed the gravy. And the fish and chips was indeed a good rendition and even better with a little malt vinegar. The service was efficient and friendly, and quick to bring a refill on my lemonade (again, without me having to ask). It was a bit loud but not unreasonable for a pub. I'm looking forward to trying more of the menu here!

Tried the Kings fish and chips. It was amazing. Forgot to take a picture before digging in. It was a huge portion. I got the half portion. It was amazing with or without the vinegar and tartar sauce. The fries were super crispy and not too oily. The coleslaw was tasty.

Was nearby again (here 3 years ago) and decided to stop by and I am glad I did. They have been in business for almost 8 years in the area. I drank a couple flights of beers (really liked the Pedro Mexican lager and Apple Spiced Amber). Ask about the Mug Club. Service was quick, friendly, and attentive (thanks Allison). They have events check social media (all of them) and their website. They have great food (had the Brewer's Beef). I would highly recommend drinking and eating here. If nearby give it a try. Enjoy!!

This is great place for some Fish N chips. The pieces of fish are a really good size and taste great. We also had the Scottish eggs which I highly recommend. My wife had the Shepard pie and said that was delicious also. The service was fantastic and the food came out pretty quick. They have 2 locations , this one has more parking. Give this place a try , you won't be sorry

A brewpub. In an odd location. We entered and were told to sit ourself. We found a good table. It took a bit for anyone to greet us and not too busy. Waiter was rather matter of fact. Ordered fried pickles, fish and chips, and wings. Really enjoyed pickles. Fish was good one strip and fries with a small coleslaw. You could taste basil on buffalo wings. Also orders two drafts. Beer was superior. Overall a good meal with "bar food."
