Absolutely had a blast with our friends at Punky's!! The place looks great with the new tables and chairs. The floors are amazing. Had a two of the best bartenders that made a wicked Bloody Maria! A spicy one at that! Thank you Jen and Scott for a great night!!

My partner and I were in town from Seattle, where we are regulars at a few karaoke spots there. We try to make it a priority to sing karaoke in each new state that we visit. It was a Sunday, and we were unsure of the karaoke situation at Punky's as their website did not have a lot of info, and no one there was answering the phone. But we fully expected that karaoke would start around 9pm, which is the norm where we live. We got there and waited for a bit. Luckily there is bowling and sports you can watch while you wait. "A-aron" was the karaoke host, and Desiree was our bartender. Both were super polite and very gracious. The well drinks were kind of pricey at $6.25 each, with just average pours. On Sundays, karaoke is only from 9:00 PM-11:30ish PM. It runs a bit longer on Fridays and Saturdays. There is no book. You find your songs from their online list, which you access from your smartphone (http://www.silvalanes.us/karaoke/index.htm). Once you confirm they have your song, you write your name, song, and artist on a clipboard by the karaoke host set-up. They have multiple mics for duets. Though one odd thing about their set-up is that there is only one screen to read from, no smaller screen for you and larger screen for the audience. There is just the large screen. This means you can sing in the front with your back to the audience or even seated from your table. The mics work well, and A-aron was really sensitive to adjusting the system so you sound your best. He tries to enforce a strong "no heckling" rule and really just wants to make sure you sing and that everyone has a great time. Because it was a Sunday and there were only 4 of us total singing, we got to sing a lot. The host also took a few turns. He's a very good singer. If I ever find myself in the Burque again, I will most def stop here for a song or two or more!

This place is great if you're looking to do free karaoke. It does start at 9 pm on Fridays and Saturdays. I definitely recommend calling ahead! If there are UFC fights going on karaoke may get delayed to 11 pm. Drinks are reasonably priced!

The website stated karaoke all day but when my group of 14 showed up at 7pm we were quoted karaoke to start at 9pm. Its 9:45 and we still havent started. There is only one person working the bar and karaoke which may be a reason for slow service and karaoke starting later than projected but the crowd is starting to leave and its been a long time waiting for nothing at this point. I suggest more staff and a committment to stay on schedule e.g. if the website states all day karaoke then karaoke should be available all day http://silvalanes.eliaden.com/punkys.php

Dang we came here because it had advertised that there was karaoke all day Saturday from Noon-2. Needless to say I was being naive and this was a dirty lie. Karaoke is more of a 930pm thing :P But alas, there we were. The space itself is pretty bowling alley status with carpeted black light walls and linoleum furniture. They have a few pool tables too. Luckily the drink prices were on point! Pretty standard bar options. Despite the lack of karaoke, lucky for punky's, they're attached to a bowling alley. Crisis averted!

It's an OK place, like stepping back to the 80s. If you can catch it on a good night, you will be happy. They have karaoke almost every night from 9pm until close. Bartenders are hit or miss, some fun and others look like they want to be someplace else.

I used to go to this place all the time, but it's seriously gone down hill since I've been here. Samantha was the bartender tonight and she was extremely rude to us, when we asked about karaoke she rolled her eyes at us and walked off. I used to come here all the time because they had karaoke all week. When we order drinks and ask her to make us something on the sweeter side she made us grapefruit juice and vodka which wasn't sweet at all but extremely bitter and nothing like what we asked for this stupid drink was eight dollars. I was very disappointed in the service it's nothing like I remember I will not be back when Samantha is working, she needs to work on her customer service.

Cheap drinks and karaoke on Friday and Saturday nights. Its a different but colorful crowd from night to night. Not a bad little dive.
