Pub 'n Grub

Great food, service and atmosphere! We enjoyed the spinach/artichoke dip, burgers with fires and fish and chips. We'll be back!

Our experience at Pub 'n Grub was terrible overall. The service was extremely slow, the drinks were terrible, and the food was mediocre.To get specific, the reason the service was slow was that there appeared to be only two employees serving the full restaurant of guests; this included bartending. Our waiter was the one who mixed our drinks, and he clearly was very inexperienced. Both margaritas that he made were vastly different in color; the second margarita was crystal clear, missing any trace of lime juice and tasting terrible.For food, two of us ordered different salads with the grilled chicken on top. The salads were bland collections of lettuce and few other toppings with little dressing. I had the smothered fries, which were decent if poutine is your kind of thing.One thing that really stood out was that I tried to order a cocktail from the menu, the "pub gin", and the waiter asked me to order a less complicated beverage. "One with just a liquor and mixers". I'm guessing this goes back to the fact that there was no dedicated bartender who knew what they were doing. My recommendation would be to just order a beer.Given the fact that this was during peak lunch hours of a very busy season of the year, we were quite shocked to find that the place was so understaffed and slow. At least 20 minutes went by between each time the waiter checked on us; this included the time between when we first sat down and our first drink order was taken.Do not eat here unless you are not in a hurry and don't mind overpaying for lackluster dishes and poor customer service.

The family and I came here for dinner our first night in Angel Fire based upon previous Yelp reviews but we didn't care for the food or the prices. I realize it's a ski and maybe fishing resort town but the prices were ridiculously high for what we got. I ordered the chicken fried steak and the steak was obviously was frozen and just heated to order, the mashed potatoes were an odd color and were cold and didn't even taste like potatoes and the green beans were not fresh but frozen and full of water when you bite into them. My husband and daughter each got a hamburger and my husband said it was alright but a bit dense. Looked like a typical frozen patty. $98 for a kids meal, a burger, cfs and some onion rings. Not worth it.

Sleepy little bar but they offer karaoke and band nights plus lots if specials for occasions. Definitely worth checking.

Service was great, we sat down immediately, and while they were out of burgers, the food we got was pretty good. We tried the coconut shrimp, the spaghetti and meatballs, chicken fried steak, and shrimp tacos. We'd come back here. None of the food in Angel Fire has been super impressive, but this was on the better side.

Hubby and I were staying across the street in a friend's condo. This is an upstairs restaurant with an outdoor balcony. Very clean inside and out. We shared a cheeseburger and fries, which was overdone. Hubby wasn't a fan of his 2 beers. Service was good. Definitely paying for ski resort pricing.

Just ate there today. The food was excellent! The server was Raoul and he was exceptional! The dining area was clean and the ambiance was fantastic! We will be going back very soon!

We ordered appetizers for the table, after 30+ mins we asked our server who said oh I will check then they came out quickly.On our meal, multiple orders were wrong and we were served raw chicken tenders. We had to ask for silverware, our server dropped one on the floor and proceeded to still give it to us. Absolutely do not recommend!

Not good at all, first beer was cool at best. I had to ask for the second one to be cold. Burger was overpriced and bland. We ordered the jalapeño poppers and assumed they were bacon wrapped. It turned out to be just a sliver of jalapeño with a small dab of cream cheese deep fried. Also over priced for what we got. The place is located up stairs. If you don't know where it is, they put writing on the door with instructions then cover it up with a decoration. They one guy working there was the host, waiter and bartender. He was good and was attentive. Needless to say, this was our first and last time there.

Food was good and it was a fun atmosphere. Service was a little slow but they were busy.
