Prescilliano's Cafe

This is an excellent find in Cuba, NM. We were traveling through in our way to northern NM, it was a Sunday and our first pick was closed.I read the prior reviews and the Carve Adovado review perked my interest. It lived up to that review! Excellent, spicy, tender, just the right sauce consistency! I can't wait to travel through again. Service was a bit slow, but many restaurants are suffering from that in NM due to COVID restrictions. It ended up being a pleasant diversion from travels and a tasty meal, too!

Great Service from one waitress featuring just enough "sass" and a terrific sense of humor.We really enjoyed our meals here, and finished the breakfast off with a piece of chocolate cake plus vanilla ice cream!Terrific spot ... worth every penny.We'll find a way to come back, when we're anywhere near this place...Locals and tourists alike all chatting about their weekend activities etc.Quality comfort food you'll enjoy ... plus it's great to support a local business in a remote (ish) area of Northern NM.

It's true, the restaurant is understaffed and because they didn't have a dishwasher they served our meals in Styrofoam containers. However, our meals were amazing. I had the blue corn enchiladas with green chili and my partner had the agabado. The waitress did a fabulous job considering she was the only one waiting tables.

We ate here for lunch one day while passing through. We got there late for lunch, so the place was pretty empty when we arrived, though a few people came in later. We got some chips and salsa when seated, and I ordered a chimichanga, which was good. They also gave us some sopapillas later on, which were also good, though unfortunately, we either didnt notice them or forgot about them until we were too full to eat them. Regardless, we liked this place. I would definitely eat here again, and would be happy to try some of the other things on the menu. BTW, they don't just have Mexican food; my wife got a burger.

Great little place to eat especially after camping for a weekend at Chaco. Very positive experience.

New Mexico, land of Enchanted food, and Presciliano's doesn't disappoint. Delicious food, clean restaurant and friendly folks. We saw many locals picking up take out while were there, which always says a lot. We had the Mexican Steak, the green chili sauce was so good and spicy as well

Hadn't eaten there in a year used to be a good place for value and Mexican food. Ordered enchilada plate of green chili with meat enormous plate 90% gelatinous, white and yellow cheese with onions cooked had to search. With my fork to find the two enchiladas and any meat 90% gelatin cheeses for $14 I could not eat half of the food. It was so bad.But the nice waitress was wonderful Nice and responsive had to do all the table busing and waiting on four tables at the same time the only waitress. Be aware of the two enchilada cheese plate for $14 foodterrible.

Amazing red chili relleno plate. No crowd, good atmosphere, great service. Highly recommend, we will be back

This place is one of the few on the drive between Albuquerque and Durango. Don't think it is a good place to stop, even if you are starving. Eat a snack or go across the street and buy a bag of chips.If you do eat here make sure during the check out process you watch the slide of hands and get an itemized receipt. We got the total and they could not explain how they got there. The tax was just added on as a flat rate.I believe the waitress added to the check to get a tip at her own rate.

Stopped for lunch on the return drive from Bloomfield. Just pulled in! The lady seemed to be working most arena's for lunch! They were reasonably busy!Told us food would be served in to go containers, because she didn't have a dishwasher! The Burger was great! Impressed! Service was spot on and pleasant! Next trip up north it'll be a lunch spot!
