Quick and efficient eye exam. I have seen both Dr. Lovie and Dr. Zobel who give fantastic customer care. Since I'm not a fan of wearing glasses or contact lenses and I am not a candidate for LASIK, we discussed my treatment options for now and possible solutions for the future that I was unaware of.

I've come to the conclusion that the best way to evaluate an optometrist practice has little to do with the examination itself, and far more to do with the closing sale. I'm sure there are some not-so-great eye doctors, but most can get the job done. The real profit in the business is the hardware they're selling, and the art of the sale is critical. I ended up leaving my neighborhood franchise office because of the unnecessary bells and whistles I was pressured to buy, and I'm glad I checked out Precision Eye Center.My appointment with Dr. Zobel and his associate was efficient and friendly. When it came to buying new frames, I think the question I asked was, "So if I only need some solid reading glasses, does it make sense for me to drop $200-300 on frames, or should I just pick up some cheapies at Walgreens? Can you check on what my insurance covers?" Ten minutes later she answered my questions, noting that I had decent coverage on lenses -- which really didn't matter, for me. She then showed me a great online company that carried the kind of frames I was hoping to find, at moderate prices. I chose what I wanted, they ordered several styles, and I'm choosing my favorite when they arrive over the next few days. Customer service, yo.

I found this place through my vision insurance plan. Stopped by to make an appointment and found the place to have a nice set up, kind of limited on frames but thought I could make it work. The appointment arrived and it went fine. They wanted to schedule a special retina exam due to my diabetes, so I made the appointment during my initial eye exam. A week or so before this appointment they called to reschedule me because the Dr. had to be out of town. No problem.. we reschedule and the day before this appointment they call to reschedule because of a staff shortage. I told them I'd call back to reschedule something else. Fast forward to February 2023, I was having a non-urgent issue, so I called and left a voice mail to set up an appointment. No call back after 3 days, so I searched my insurance plan again and a new Dr. I found one who had a reasonable appointment available and not too far out. a WEEK later Precision Eye called me back and they said "Do you still need an appointment" No apologies for calling back a week after my call. I just told them I found another Dr. I kid you not, the response I got was "Perfect, is there anything else you need from us". They DO NOT CARE! So done with them. If you still go there... I'm tired of this place. Aside from their costs being on the high side, every single time I go there I have to wait and wait and wait. Today I waited 20 minutes after my appointment time and there was no sign of me getting in there anytime soon. I was told, "We're just waiting for a room to open up." Really?! Who exactly controls the flow of patients? Oh yeah. You do! Unbelievable with their ridiculous excuses. They have no respect for the patients time. And this was evident pre-COVID as well!I'm moving on, but I'll be sure to let everyone I come across know how WONDERFUL the service is at Precision Eye Center. No worries!

Don't go there if you intend to use any sort of insurance. Sure, these guys are super nice. However, my ~only~ question of them before I agreed to an appointment was whether or not they took my insurance. 'Sure--no problem!' It turns out that either they were lying or they just don't know that much about insurance. I ended up paying full price for my glasses, and eight months later they are sending me a new bill for the exam. NOT COOL! This whole thing should have cost me only $200 out-of-pocket. Instead, they are trying to get ~ $800 for the same service. I'm a retired senior citizen. I live on a fixed income. That's NOT COOL! I truly regret ever having crossed paths with these guys.

I came here through my insurance from work.. the doctor himself was very nice and efficient but the staff running the front were terrible.. I understand being understaffed and everything of the sort but not answering the phone hours before close (the place isn't that busy), not getting a call back for weeks, and then giving me the WRONG prescription and making me wait weeks to get the right ones. THEN having the audacity to say "sorry" with a Starbucks gift card for 5 whole fucking dollars. I honestly don't know how the doctor is ok with the girls in the front just not caring at all.

Waited 10-15 minutes after scheduled time. Pleasant staff. Prices seem high. Had a pair of frames but was quoted $455 just for lenses. With insurance, still had to pay $260 out of pocket.
