Pratt Van Lines

Tim Pratt Van lines deserves more than five stars. Tim is very easy to reach by phone. He always answers immediately and he schedules with the first call or returns calls at an agreed upon time. Tim gives an estimate based on a face to face assessment and he is fair and transparent in his business. The moving crew arrived on moving day ready to go to work. They carefully wrapped furniture with plastic and/or blankets before loading it in the truck. When I ran out of boxes for the last few things - which always ends up being more than a few - Tim donated boxes to use, with the agreement that I give him all my collapsed boxes after I unpacked. He picks them up with just a phone call. That's a win/win. He moved me twice and I won't consider any other mover.

We highly recommend Tim Pratt and his team. They are prompt, careful, and courteous. We even had a last minute need to move some heavy furniture and they were able to help us out that same day! The price was reasonable and we appreciated their responsiveness. What a great company!

The best movers in Albuquerque and Rio Rancho. They have helped us move from house to house six times and have moved other large pieces too many times to count. They are trustworthy and the hardest working people I've ever dealt with. Tim Pratt is extremely helpful and easygoing. I'd give more stars than five if I could.Sept. 2018 - Tim and Eric moved furniture from Houston to Albuquerque for us and we couldn't be happier. Not ONE thing was damaged or broken. They are the epitome of professionalism. I highly recommend them.

Pratt Van Lines unloaded a u-Pack trailer for me.The were prompt and on time. The workers were extremely cordial and professional. I would recommend them and use them again if the need ever arises.

Had such a great experience we used them twice! Mr. Pratt responds to calls and emails very promptly and is customer friendly. They arrived on time, were friendly and professional throughout the move. When one item came into question (trampoline) about whether they could move it - one clarifying call to Mr. Pratt made it right. It took less time than quoted and we were promptly refunded the overage - hand delivered by Mr. Pratt as he also followed up in how the move had gone. Would we use them again? Yes, without hesitation!

Very impressed! They were able to move our household goods from our storage unit to our new house within a couple of days. They were friendly and fast and didn't charge an arm and a leg.

Highly recommend! We used them for our in-town move. They were not the least expensive option, but the bid was thorough and reasonable. They gave excellent service, and were so friendly and efficient. Tim and his team went above and beyond, very hard working people. When it was all said and done, we finished early and ended up paying less than the original quote! We have referred them to a couple of friends who were also extremely pleased with their service.

We contracted Pratt Van Lines to pack and load our moving pods for a cross country move. It was a really positive experience. The moving team arrived on time and introduced themselves and did a walk through of what they were loading. They went right to work and were able to load our furniture and possessions for a 2 bedroom apartment in ONE hour. They were incredibly fast and efficient. If I had a need to hire movers in the future I would not hesitate to count on the Pratt Van Line team.

After numerous corporate moves over the decades and experiencing what "moving" can turn out to be it was a pleasure to have Tim Pratt and his crew do our recent move. Yes, it was a local move but just as susceptible to things going wrong as any move. This was definitely the flawless move you hope for. In fact it invloved two separate moves on two separte dates. The household move and moving a huge train collection to a museum. With both moves Tim and his crew were on time, totally professional with us and the museum personnel. Best crew ever! All the major furniture was wrapped in thick moving blankets and then taped or they were shrinked wrapped for complete protection. Even the smallest delicate items were meticulously wrapped individually and we mean that in every way. Incredible. What about all those boxes and all that wrapping paper after they left? They emptied the wardrobes of course and took them away. We elected to do our own unpacking but here's the best part of that. We broke down the boxes and stacked the plastic containers and folded up the tons of wrapping paper (all easy enough) and after a quick call to Tim (who returns calls FAST) on two separate days a member of his crew was at our home hauling it all away! Find another mover who does that! Lastly the estimate and the final bill were right on and the cost was very realistic with no surprises. Thanks Tim and your crew!

These guys are a joke. A really dumb relative hired them to move property across state lines to me. They moved boxes they had no idea what was in them, charged $4400.00 . I advised them that I would need inventory covering all items and boxes content. They completely ignored this, and the $4400.00 invoice? Apparently 2 guys and their women friends came together, one of the women wrote out the "invoice" on a small note pad, using stick figures to count number of boxes etc. Seriously? These people saw my ignorant family member and took her to the bank (and my money). Steer very very clear of this opportunistic, unprofessional and lazy mover.
