Plaza Gifts

Not enough stars for this wonderful place and in particular Sandra. My daughter collects ornaments in the states she travels to on her CATS Broadway NA Tour and she purchased one from Plaza Gifts that was accidentally broken by a wee family member. I called Plaza and spoke with Sandra who then gave me her cell number, I sent her photos of the ornament. She found the same ornament and we did the transaction over the phone and I received the new ornament in a week. Sandra went above and beyond ordinary customer service!

I think that most of Plaza Gifts was cheap plastic stuff, and there may be more but I moved on. The unique entry here was a shelf full of hot sauces. I took a picture but it was way blurrier than usual.

Great selection of authentic Chile items, great local style t-shirts of good quality, beautiful ristras!! They have a wonderful spot outside to take photographs with ristras and christmas decor. Thanks!

Awesome shop! Employee helped me find correct shirt sizes. We had a hard time narrowing down our choice of tees. So many cute designs! We had been all over Old Town before coming here, and there were lots of new things we hadn't yet seen. My husband bought the green chili mix of multiple foods, as well as a sopapilla mix. No, it wasn't cheap, but wasn't any more expensive than most other stores. Souvenirs are pricey, people!

Very cute stored. It's kind of packed and pricey. I stopped in for a Baja hoodie/poncho and was surprised to find a good quality one for only $15.

There are a handful of souvenir shops in Old town, but this one was memorable, and perhaps one of my best visited stores. It is situated in a prime area, across the street from the open air plaza, and is a very bright and welcoming location. The store itself is very well-organized, and stocked with such a wide variety of things that you couldn't possibly leave without picking up a thing or two. There are shelves and shelves of goodies from candies and treats, to hot sauces, different handmade wares and novelty items, to your run-of-the-mill souvenir items like shirts, keychains and postcards. The folks in the store were very friendly, and it was a fun stop on our self-guided tour of Old Town, Albuquerque.

This is another souvenir shop in the Old Town area. The store has a great selection of hot sauces. I've never seen so many hot sauces in one location! All of the naughty named hot sauces are covered with a blanket. You can also find snacks and t-shirts at this location. If you like chili peppers, you can buy some. There is an entire rack located outside of the store.

Don't shop here. Pricey and rude! If I could give zero stars I would. I visited Plaza gifts and saw a Breaking Bad shirt I was interested in buying for my Dad. It was $21. I purchased it and then saw the same shirt next store for $10. I went back to Plaza to return the shirt and they didn't let me return it or match the price. I just bought it 5 minutes before. I asked to talk to the manager and she pointed to the sign for no returns with attitude, which they didn't verbalize when I purchased the item. The sales associate raised her voice at me and my girlfriend. I told her I don't appreciate how your raising your voice when discussing the exchange policy and her response was this is how I talk I'm Mexican. I left there feeling cheated and very disappointed.

Lots of cute gifts, a friendly owner and beautifully decorated areas. I met the owner while taking some photos on the exterior of the building. It's a gorgeous spot and the owner was very friendly and accommodating. Thank you!
