Oh Placitas! Great grab of a cafe! Self serve coffee and friendly staff are two calling cards that complement delicious food! Pro Tip: the coffee mugs can be found in a drawer under the coffee maker.

Nice restaurant, which I would assume, is the heart of Placitas. There is humor in the menu, just as with the owner. I couldn't pick what to order, so I started with biscuits and gravy, add green chile. I'll have to return to try more. Self serve coffee.It seems I'm a French fry/potato fan... the sauteed potatoes were great with green chile and ketchup.

As always, the food is excellent! I loved my creamed spinach omelet. Omelets are naturally heavier, but this one didn't seem too heavy! The server was very kind and helpful as well! I also really like the interior. In the room we were eating, there was a beautiful mural of the desert! I love to come again for sure!

This is a case of following the crowd. A cold motorcycle ride brought us here. This is a relatively small place in Placitas. A quick look at the menu and I zeroed in on the Patty Melt, with a cup of Lentil Soup. The patty melt was cooked medium rare, with sautéed red onions and 2 types of cheese. The bread was not over toasted. A much different flavor. The lentil soup came loaded with beans, ham, carrots & spinach. It had great flavor. But, I was disappointed it was served lukewarm. Good food & great service made for nice stop for lunch.

I wish there were more places like this in Albuquerque, my experience here was so good! When you first walk in, it definitely gives off old cafe vibes. Lots of older decorations but everything came together so well. We started with the chips and salsa which were homemade and absolutely fire. I had the beef burrito with a scrambled egg added and green chili and this was one of the best burritos I have had in a while! The rest of my party also enjoyed their meals so much they couldn't stop talking about how good the food was. I will definitely be coming back here more often. If you are in the Placitas, Bernalillo area or passing through on the highway definitely recommend trying this little cafe out!

Food and service were great! Family owned business. Husband is the chef, wife writes up the menu daily on a chalk board and serves and greets their customers with a lovely smile.
