I read a suggestion for this restaurant on a Facebook thread that indicated they had Chicago style pizza. I personally love Chicago pizza and was excited to give this place a try. We arrived and I asked the waitress about the pizza. They don't actually do Chicago style pizza. That was okay in the end because the pizza was great and I found another kind of pizza I haven't had in a long time ... shrimp and jalapeño pizza. I ordered shrimp and jalapeno pizza on a regular basis from Merlin's Pizza in Destin. It's been a while and it was great to have this again. The dough was soft, yet firm. The sauce tasted good; however, I do wish the pizza was a bit more saucy. I will definitely return and order this again. We also had calamari, which had a good firm crust. The flavor and portion were good. The sauce for dipping the calamari had a good sweet flavor and large chucks of tomato. The interior of the establishment is well taken care of and clean. They have a bar with seating if you prefer that. The service was prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable. I will definitely be telling friends about this place. If you are looking to try a local pizza place you haven't been to before, definitely give this place a try.

neither cozy nor romantic. no sinatra tunes. kinda divey. old looking tables. caesar salad .... dry cheese , odd dressing. pizza ok , sausage was good but mushrooms seemed out of a jar. toppings sparse. cannot recommend and will not return.

We really wanted to love this place for a causal take out pizza but were disappointed in the service. We ordered two pizzas for take out and when arrived were told they misfired and did the wrong toppings for one of the pizzas. They were currently refiring it and so it was another 15 min wait. So after waiting about 50 min from our initial order (and not being offered even water while waiting), we finally got our order. Sadly this also meant the first pizza was not kept warm and so was cold (and cheese congealed) by the time we had our 15 min drive home. The thick crust pizza was also tough and not flavorful - definitely not the Chicago deep dish style we had been expecting. We did enjoy our thin crust mushroom pizza though that had plenty of good umami flavor.

Crazy holiday weekend in the downtown area made us look for something more away. So glad we did! Waitress was kind, accommodating, and attentive. Nice clean little restaurant probably 10 tables. Everything we ordered was delicious. Supreme pizza fresh veggies and well portioned. I had the 3 mushroom pasta. It was better than any pasta dish I have had in quite a while. The cannoli was a perfect dessert. Well worth the stop! If I was local I would return.

Finally had lunch inside the restaurant. Lovely dining area. Brought a friend and we both enjoyed the lunch specials. She had the Garden Pizza. The crust was well made and the fresh toppings delicious. I had the Italian sandwich on focaccia. Thin sliced roast beef, their special dressing, grilled onions...DELICIOUS! Maybe the best sandwich I have ever eaten. So good in fact, I brought one home for my husband for his dinner.In addition to the pizza and sandwich, we both ordered the walnut/cranberry salad. So yummy.The staff was attentive, and helpful with menu questions. I plan to keep exploring the menu.
