Pizza Barn

On a last minute whim I decided to visit my best friend in Edgewood. He told me about this place and well long story short he basically had me at pizza. Walking in I really enjoyed the layout of the place. The vibe was really chill. The staff was really friendly. Lots of seating options. Towards the back they had tvs showing sports.Not sure exactly what to expect I almost walked straight to the dining area thinking we'd order at the table. My friend quickly directed me to the register. Oops! lol I do have to say the menu was very nice. They offered a good variety for just about everyone. We settled with the Route 66 Pizza minus the olives. When it came out let me tell ya the presentation was excellent. The pizza had a great ratio of cheese and toppings. Whats funny is I almost requested extra cheese out of habit but I'm glad I didn't because the regular cheese portion was perfect. The crust had a nice crunch. The sauce combined with the crust, the cheese, and the toppings was a one way ticket to aw yeah. Each bite was savory. My only regret was eating it too fast. I mean I blinked and it was gone. FYI these guys also serve beer!Overall I had a great experience. This is the perfect joint for a Friday night/ Saturday night kickback with some friends or family. It almost reminds of the glory days of the 90s when we as a society used to go inside and sit in a pizzeria rather than just go for take out. I feel like joints like this are a rare find these days. It goes without saying I'll definitely be back the next time I find myself in Edgewood.

I'm something of a pizza snob. I've worked in several shops and I've eaten a lot of pizza in a lot of places. I don't brook much crap.New Mexico is not a great place for food, frankly. We don't get much of anything fresh and unless you like chili and soap in your food you're going to be mostly disappointed trying to eat here. Edgewood is a little worse than New Mexico average. If you're here then it's certainly not for the food. Pizza Barn, however is superb! It doesn't belong in Edgewood, much less in New Mexico. By which I mean, it is a very well run shop with a fine menu, good food, easily accessible from the freeway, with excellent pizza! This place is worth driving out from Albuquerque. Seriously. This is good pizza on a NATIONAL scale. Certainly the best I've found in this state. Service isn't much, honestly. It's usually well staffed with mostly teenagers. They are generally polite and professional and they've always gotten my order right so far. But I come here for the pizza and I usually take it away with me. I do wish they had online ordering. It's sometimes a challenge to get them on a voice line. But the pizza is worth it!I often wonder why they haven't opened another shop elsewhere.

This place has some really good pizza. The crust is crispy without being thin. The ingredients are fresh you can taste the crunch in the veggies. Had the supreme and the rancher, added green chili and jalapeños to both. The service was friendly, and the pizza is made pretty fast considering how busy they get. They have a good choice of beers on tap. This is a nothing fancy what you see is what you get kinds place. Worth the trip from ABQ.

Pizza Barb is well staffed and they don not disappoint. The are quick and efficient. Their pizza is definitely one of the best in New Mexico. In fact I would venture to saw one of the the best I have enjoyed in the United States. Of course my favorite topping is the wickedly delicious green Chile. Normally we have a great fantastic peaceful date night. Unfortunately tonight there was a woman scolding her little boy loudly who was actually behaving grat while husband was passed out in the booth. Perhaps that's where anger should be targeted. I guess not calling Edgewood PD was where the employees fell short. I will chalk that to their youth.

The pizza was SO GOOD and hot & fresh out of the oven. I'm excited to know there is this option in the area. We went on a Friday night which is VERY busy. Since we've never been here before, I'm only guess it isn't always that busy and hectic. Order took about 40 min. But we were appropriately warned. The seating options are limited so we shoved our family of 3 into a small 2 person booth. It worked, but not much room for pizza on the table. Great beer options. The pizza was delicious and the green chile cheese bread is worth going back for by itself.

Always good food in a comfortable atmosphere. A great place to stop and enjoy pizza and cold beer!

Great spot! This place is constantly busy. Be prepared to order and then be prepared to wait. Order a drink while you wait for your pie because it can take anywhere between 20 minutes to an hour. Highly recommend if you're in the area. Is it the best pizza I ever had? As a pizza snob from NJ, absolutely not - BUT it did hit the spot and we left satisfied. Also there is plenty of parking outside.

Well the last three times we've had issues with our order.They forgot chicken wings twice.Aug 6th We were at pizza Barn ten to 7pm. We waited over and hour for our pizza twice We went up to see what happened. Our was sitting in a box and our wings were probably given to someone else. Our cheese sticks weren't cut and tore while separated as well as pizza and cold in box.They seemed more concerned with closing duties. This is unacceptable customer service. They shouldn't say it will be out in 20 mins and not delivered. I'm very disappointed in the service of this establishment.

This is one of the worst restaurants I have been too the owners are disgusting and disrespectful. And the food is by far the most disgusting I have every had I would have a better meal eating out of a truckstop toilet and still be more sanitary then pizza barn.

When I visited this restraunt and I was appauled!!!! Their kitchen is completely visible from the counter. It was an absolute healthcode nightmare. The boxes also touch the ceiling which is a huge fire hazard. When I paid for my pizza they gave me the wrong change and the place just had a bad vibe. Do Not Recomend.
