The team of Anthony and Neal over at Pianowerkes in Albuquerque were nothing less than amazing, compassionate, supportive; and we felt no pressure whatsoever in purchasing a once in a lifetime NEW PIANO.I called in, spoke to them twice, then made an appointment to go up from Santa Fe to see some pianos. It was not only exciting, but quite lovely having the entire store to myself to explore what piano would work for me; especially since I was a tad nervous since I had not played in quite sometime.Neal could not have been more sensitive to my needs and vulnerability. He played like a virtuoso so I could get the full range of the sound; I played to feel the sound and the piano itself. I had the best of both worlds.Going in I wanted a used piano; but after playing a new Yamaha all bets were off. I have played used all my life, so having a new piano all of my own really was not only heartfelt, but personally intimate.The new one I played on the floor was butter; brand new, on the floor only a few weeks; but what 'made the butter melt' was when I asked Neal if he had the same one that was still in the box that no one had played, and he was more than accommodating. Who does that?You will not find the kind of service we experienced anywhere when it comes to buying a piano; and I can tell you Anthony and Neal went 'full monty' on taking care of us and our situation.You guys at Pianowerkes made my New Year! But it does take a team to make a village, so I wanted to also give a big thanks to Adam - 'piano mover extraordinaire' and his two men team who got me my piano in record time before Christmas. THEY worked so hard to make sure that customers were able to get their piano's before Christmas, moving pianos not only in the cold, but across state lines.Now you tell me... if you were to purchase a piano, wouldn't you want to experience the stellar customer service we had? Or take your chances somewhere else....

Stunned that there isn't more reviews of this place but it's probably off of most folks radars. After a ton of research, a ton of trial playing and a too many questions...we've finally added a new Yamaha to the family home. After working with Neil, who was extremely patient and knowledgeable, it just made the final decision so much easier. Sometimes you just have to make a decision and jump off the log, into the pond...and so we did. I've been playing it since it arrived and I'm still shaking my head over how beautiful it sounds. Thank you Neil - we'll see you in a few weeks for the follow up tune...if it needs it. :)

Inquired on a piano tune. Never returned my call. I guess they don't want the business

The guys, Neal and Anthony, at PianoWerkes were amazing. As a beginner, I wanted to purchase a used piano so Neal did his best to show and explain the benefits of the used models he had in stock. He played each piano that I was interested in so I could get a sense of the workmanship of the piano. Having years of experience Neal shared lots of details about the instruments and cautioned us on the dos and don't of piano buying. Never did I feel pressured to make a decision, on the contrary Neal gave me all the time I needed to decide. Once I had made my decision, Anthony helped out with the payment/paperwork. He was extremely pleasent and professional. There was a slight discrepancy between what Neal had promised, in regards to the price, and what the actual numbers came out to be, lucky for us we were able to benefit from the difference, NO QUESTIONS asked. After the delivery of our piano which, by the way, was absolutely superb it was actually delivered on Memorial Day...who works on a holiday, Neal recommended a person he thought would be the perfect person for me to take lessons from he even provided the name and number of the person.Overall my experience with Neal and Anthony at PianoWerkes was nothing short of wonderful, I highly recommend PianoWerkes if you're looking for great service and of course a piano.Tony B.

We had a great experience at Piano Werkes. Neil was very quick to respond to our inquiry to visit. We were given a time slot where we could browse as the only people in the store so we were not distracted by others playing while we browsed. Neil asked us what we were looking for and gave us his sincere recommendations. He also helped us to step back and listen while he played so we got a full understanding of the sound of some of the pianos. We had no pressure or rush to purchase - we took a night to decide between two pianos. As a plus, they also have a great trade in policy! I highly recommend them as your source of purchase for your next piano. They have a good selection of both new and used pianos.

I ordered my Yamaha during the pandemic, so it took almost a year to arrive. Yamaha increased their price significantly during this time, but PianoWerkes did not pass this cost on to me. Four stars instead of five because my model was the first this store had ever ordered, and they could have been more knowledgeable about its installation.

We were looking to buy our first piano and our piano teacher recommended PianoWerkes over other local retailers. Neal H. was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. He showed us several models, explained the pros and cons of different brands and styles, and happily answered our thousands of questions. He helped us choose the perfect piano for our family's needs and was respectful of our budget. No high-pressure sales! Anthony B. completed the sales and financing paperwork, arranged our delivery, and even called on the day of delivery to make sure all went well and that we were completely satisfied. Although the piano was perfectly tuned upon delivery, they will also come back in 4-6 weeks for a second tuning once the instrument has adjusted to our home environment. We could not be more pleased with our PianoWerkes experience!

Good customer service. No pressure. Very nice selection of new and used pianos.Very competitive pricing.When you buy an acoustic piano the full amount of the purchase price can be applied as credit for another piano as long as you own the piano.For a digital piano the full amount of the purchase price can be applied to another piano for 2 years.Neal and Anthony are great. Try all of the pianos. Come back another day.No pressure.It is a store where you feel comfortable coming to shop.It does not matter your level of musical ability.You will feel welcome here.This is a local business.They are an example of great customer service
