Pho Ava Vietnamese Restaurant

The pho was ok, not very flavorful considering all the ingredients I added. The broth was so bland. But It was good enough for this cold day. Only three pieces of fatty meat. Asked for chili oil and I was given dry chili flakes... disappointing. My mother loved her shrimp and veggies! The vegetable egg rolls were so burnt that the insides were like dust when you bit down. Not impressed. Ambience was clean. Server was attentive and friendly that's why I'm giving three stars. Food needs some serious work, very mediocre.

First off, I didn't know there were any pho places in Santa Fe. A friend brought me just after my birthday. I forgot to take any pictures of the food. Had the rare steak and meatball pho which was quite good. We had good appetizers, chicken pot stickers and edamame. Not the best pho I've ever had, but my favorite place in White Rock is closed. They forgot to bring us our garnish (bean sprouts, jalapenos, etc) until we asked for the forgotten spoons as well. I'd give em another try for sure.

We used to love this place! We used to come 2-3 times a month for the past ~5 years, but ever since they gained serious popularity during the past 2-3 years I feel like their service has gone down hill. Portions have gotten smaller while prices have slightly increased. There was an instance when we were denied service 45 min before closing (despite being a frequent customer) and the past 3 visits they've forgotten to add our drinks and appetizers to our tab and then add them right before we pay. I get mistakes happen, but take responsibility for it. Lastly, the pho hasn't had the same taste as before. This is mainly why we stopped eating as frequent, it just doesn't have that touch as it used to, and as my wife said "the broth has a dirty taste" and my youngest daughter mentioned "it gets stuck to my tongue" whatever that means in a 6 yo mind. We still come here to get our fix once a month and I hope they solve these issues.

We found this place in Santa Fe from Yelp and we liked it a lot.The food is exceptional good .Servers speak English very well compare to a lot of Vietnamese restaurants we have been to.Highly Recommended

Bun Bo hue was on the sweet side but nothing a few limes can't fix. Loved the thin noodles that they use here & the meat was very tender and enjoyable Def reco getting the noodle soups here and not the rice dishesThe pork over rice was very dry and not pleasing

FOOD- Pork and Egg Roll Vermicelli Bowl: vermicelli noodles with pork, egg rolls, lettuce, pickled carrots, and green onions. No bean sprouts for me. The pork itself was okay. The egg rolls were really good though. 3.5/5SERVICE: Your typical service from Vietnamese restaurants. 3.5/5FINAL THOUGHTS: I would come back to try other items.

Was very skeptical of pho in Santa Fe, but this strip mall pho restaurant was definitely super tasty and flavorful. If craving pho or Vietnamese food while visiting Santa Fe, I would definitely go here again. Service was fine and the ambiance felt like any other Vietnamese restaurant. Worth trying and the price point makes sense for location.

Stopped here for dinner and got seated immediately. I decided to try the beef stir fry with white rice that was pretty good. Price was reasonable and service good. They were out of a few items such as spring rolls and tofu, but they did let us know upfront before ordering.

The food is fresh, hot & delicious! Lots & lots of flavor, plenty of vegetables. The staff are prompt & friendly. Definitely will return here for another meal!

Unfortunately this place has gone downhill. This is the third time I order take out and was given rotten meat with the rare steak pho. When I called in to try to replace the meat, they refused to give me new meat.
