Philly Steaks

So there's a debate on who serves the best Philly cheesesteak in Philly. I am a Tony Luke's Fan. I was looking for something along the lines of Tony Luke's...or close to it.This was not it. Also, the price for onion rings cost just about the same as the sandwich! Insane. LoL Way too expensive there.Anyway - this did not hit the spot unfortunately, but try it for yourself and maybe your taste buds will have a better experience.

It was our first time visiting this restaurant. We had heard a lot of raves and good reviews of this place... so maybe I went in setting myself up for disappointment... We went in a little after noon and had the place to ourselves for the most part. There were a few people in and out as we were there. The woman behind the counter was great! She took time to offer suggestions from the menu. I ordered the duke steak and my husband had the pizza steak. I wasn't too impressed with mine. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ maybe I set too many high expectations in my head for it. My husbands pizza steak was a nice tasty take on the sandwich and the sauce that was on there was delicious. The fries probably were the best part for me. Very thick, tender, and a good spice on them

Dude like a machine gun in the back when making sandwiches. Very tasty and filling you only need half and jaylyn was the best sever we've had all month. Very polite and full of knowledge

I don't see how anyone can recommend this establishment !?! Even if the food was good it is so dirty. The dust is so think on the ceilings it's falling onto the tables as you eat. The tables are sticky with layers of dirt. The walls are grimly as you can see by just looking at them. We took a few bites of our food and had to walk out it was that dirty at noon on a Friday. Bet sad

It's Saturday! Y'all know what's in store... another ABQ restaurant review. This time, still licking my wounds (yes I'm being EXTRA dramatic on purpose) I was craving a taste of home so I really wanted to push the boundaries on their definition of a Philly cheesesteak. #phillysteaksabq The place was small and clean, and totally filled with Philly memorabilia. They even had a framed photo of Geno's steak on their wall. Mark ordered the Italian hoagie, which was very generously filled. I wish I could have captured his expression but you'll just have to use your imagination! I ordered the "wiz with" and it completely satisfied my urges. The fries were perfectly seasoned... the only thing I would recommend is serving the bread warm... but it was definitely delicious. This home girl is giving this place a 4/5! #gourmetrecovery

Stopped in for lunch. The place is small, and I think it is more suited for carry out as it is a littleSmoky and you can definitely smell the grill.However, the young lady taking orders was pleasant and efficient. I ordered a 12" Duke City and a drink. The price caught me a little by surprise. $17.50 for a sandwich and a coke was a bit much, but maybe the quality would make up?Well, the sandwich was pretty good. I would have liked to have seen a little more meat, but it was enough. The cheese was nicely melted and the bread was very good. It held up to the ingredients well. The meat was a little peppery, but overall it tasted fine.If I go again, I may try the sandwich with the Whiz. I think a messier sandwich would have been fun.

All their sandwiches are great and reasonable priced - especially if you take advantage of their sandwich club (buy 10 get one free).They do a huge delivery business, but don't let that prevent you from trying them, I've never waited more than 5 minutes for food when I've walked in. The staff is friendly as well.My favorite meal is the Buffalo chicken with crabby fries (try it with mushrooms and lettuce and you have a hearty meal.

Been to Philly Steaks quite a few times and it is getting increasingly dirty inside , it needs a deep cleaning, ceilings, fans, walls ! It's not a good feeling sitting there and seeing the filth in this place when they make a great sandwich !

Came in at 720pm and was told they were closed! Then was told they were out of bread!!! Poor service!!! Especially when hours are posted saying open until 8pm!!! Ridiculous!!!

The chicken and steak Phillies are expertly made and delicious. The fries are skin-on steak fries. So good!
