Perico's Burritos - Tacos

Pericos Burritos is what I'd call the middle-of-the-road stop for Mexican food in New Mexico. It's not bad by any means, but in a state bursting with incredible Mexican cuisine, it's hard for this spot to stand out.The portions? Generous. The facility? Clean. The staff? Friendly. So what's missing? Well, it's the flair--that special spark that makes you rave about a dish long after the last bite. The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't memorable either. It felt like a meal that got the job done but didn't leave a lasting impression.If you're in a hurry and need a big plate of food, Pericos Burritos will hit the spot. But if you're on the hunt for the bold, vibrant flavors that define New Mexican cuisine, there are plenty of other spots that deliver that extra kick.

I've been driving by here for a while and finally decided to stop in tonight. Very nice well kept clean restaurant and I came in right before they were going to close and they were a nice enough to take my order which is very unusual in this town nowadays. or burrito and their nachos with jalapeños on it and they were both very very good. Lots of taste of them and I really enjoyed my meal. The staff was super friendly and he knows the end of the day they were still very happy and really appreciate that.

Never been there...very pleasantly surprised. Got a ground beef taco plate & it was really good!!! I'll be back!

I cannot say enough good things about Perico's. They make the most incredible burritos in town. I don't live close to any location but I make special trips just to come here. Love them!!!

Every year when the Fiery Foods Show comes around, I wonder why Perico's doesn't bottle and sell their salsa. It is by far the superior salsa around and I would buy it by the gallon if I could! It is hot yet clearly made with all fresh ingredients!But that's not the only thing that keeps us coming back. We love the chicken tacos at Perico's! They are the fried tacos like you find at a Mexican mama's house! They are crispy and fresh every single time! We get the 6 packs and chow down!Let's talk location. The Yale location clearly does well because of the student population. We frequent it because it is the closest to our house. This is not the location where you will want to sit and stay a while. Parking sucks and they will boot your car if they don't know it is yours. A lot of unsavory people like to hang around this location too. The tacos are worth it but take them with you.If you want to take the family to eat out, the Coors location isn't too far away and has an awesome dining room with the same great food!Please be aware they add a $0.50 credit card fee if you pay by card!

Hungry at night looking for a quick bite. Stopped in and got a bean and cheese burrito for $3.29. It was pretty darn good especially for the price. No pictures of the burrito cuz they are never photo-worthy. Mostly set up for take out but there are 2 tables that seat about six people community style. Also some stool seats around the perimeter. Place closes at nine pm.

One of my favorite spots in ABQ! Only place whose tacos rival my grandmas! A 6 pack of shredded beef tacos is my go-to.

They messed up the order cashier was rude even tho it was her mistske cook didn't wash her hands after sweeping I'm making it Facebook official so that others know it's unsanitary restaurant
